Love this laptop. I’ve worked with computers for over 30 years. Never actually bought a new laptop, as I’ve always been given used ones from various places. But knew my lattitude was getting tired. And the processor isn’t going to be supported on windows 11. A few months back, I started a business that made a 2 in 1 a very good option.
I use my computers (I have several, but one primary personal laptop) heavier than most people. And as a result, they get beat up. Broke the camera a while ago from a drop. But I broke the lcd, and knew that was the end of the line. Considered new latitudes, but they were just too expensive. Considered a used one off eBay, but I’ve been burned way too many times. And I really needed one sooner than later.
I’ve used Lenovos (formerly ibm) laptops many times. Knew they tend to be quality devices. Did a ton of research and picked this one. I bought the fully loaded one since you can’t add memory later. I generally stick with intel processor’s. But AMDa epyc server processors are phenomenal. And not too long ago, I built a budget gaming machine for a friend. I used an AMD on it, and it really blew me away. AMD has really grown up over the years.
This laptop is amazing. I just updated to the beta of windows 11 earlier this week. Runs like a champ. The touchscreen rocks. Drawing on it is awesome. And for engineers, it can run several virtual machines in VMware workstation.
This may be the best kept secret out there. No docking station ability. But I don’t need that on a personal laptop.
I think as a CCIE, MCITP, PCNSE, I’m qualified to give you this feedback. I rarely offer up reviews. But this one is worth the time.

Very great laptop. I use it for work, the only thing is I wish I got the bigger one that had all the USB ports. But it’s great so far!

I owned this laptop for a few days before I ultimately decided to return it. The performance is great, especially for the price (was $750 on sale when I got it). It’s probably the cheapest laptop you can buy that has 16gb of ram and a Ryzen 7 processor. I experienced almost no lag when performing tasks such as web browsing and watching videos, and I was even able to run most games well (though I had to change some settings a bit).
However, I noticed a few problems which made gaming difficult on this system. The first was the motion blur on the screen, it made moments with a lot of movement very hard to see in games. Secondly, there was noticeable input lag with the keyboard, which also impacted the gaming experience. I understand that this laptop isn’t branded as a gaming laptop, but even my low-end Dell Inspiron 11 3000 laptop didn’t have these problems, so I was a bit disappointed.
In conclusion, if you’re going to be using this computer for something other than gaming that requires a lot of RAM and a good processor, this is the perfect laptop for you. If you only need a laptop for web browsing and other simple web-based tasks, a chromebook would be a much cheaper option.

It’s a great working machine, I used it to edit photos and videos and office work, elegant and sleek style with touch and flip options, is a great tool for my work and personal use!!

This laptop is a mixed bag. The internals are great – the Ryzen 7 5700u is a VERY impressive processor and the 16GB or RAM and 512GB (really ~490GB or so formatted) SSD combine to
However, there is one major, and I do mean MAJOR drawback to this machine: it is cheaply made. The plastic chassis bends easily and there is significant flex when you press down on the keyboard and palm rest area. I worry about it breaking in half when I hold it in one hand. The maximum screen brightness could be bumped up a bit and is the very definition of “good enough.” OH, and the webcam is the worst I’ve ever seen on a laptop of this price, but at least it has a physical cover.
For all my complaints, in this market, for the price, I’m going to keep it, but you can bet I’ll treat it with significant care.
