Well no, a smart watch can’t change your life but it sure can add to it! I’m active senior who works out 6 x week, runs a few miles every other day, does yoga and meditates. The watch has an app that tracks each type of activity, including how long and how well you sleep. I only take it off to charge it. I didn’t think a device could motivate me because I’m a self-motivated person. Yet I find myself even more motivated to be active because of the feedback and stats this watch provides. It also makes life easier in many little ways like using Samsung Pay when checking out, approving 2-factor authentication with just a touch, finding my phone when I misplace it, taking remote pictures with my phone from my watch, even taking calls when my phone is in the other room. It even has a feature that if I take a hard fall, it will send an SOS message to my spouse. I waited a long time to buy this but when it was on sale before the holidays, I knew it was the right time. So if you’re an active person who likes high-tech, you will find this is as essential as a smartphone.

I’ve owned a fair amount of smartwatches in my time: two Apple Watches, one Android watch (the LG Style), and the Samsung Galaxy Watch Active (first generation). While the Apple Watches are great devices and easy to use, I have to say that my current smartwatch, the Samsung Galaxy Watch3 41mm has by far been the most enjoyable for me to use. As far as looks, this is one classy baby! An actual round face so it actually looks like a watch lol. The skin Samsung puts on the watch is so perfect! It complements the round display, and is every bit as intuitive as Apple’s WatchOS (yet so much more useful!). I have a Samsung Galaxy S20, so it syncs perfectly with my phone. I have also enjoyed putting different watch faces on it, and am so spoiled for choice on the Galaxy Store! I realize I am rambling a bit, so I’ll just keep it short: this is worth the splurge!

Very happy with this watch. I actually purchased it because I play Disc Golf, and the UDisc app is now available on the Galaxy Smart Watches. It pairs with my phone easily, and works great while playing a round.
As I wore it, I came to appreciate the Vibration feature alerting me to phone calls or text messages. I normally missed those because I didn’t feel the phone vibrate in my pocket, or hear the ring or notification chime. Now, I feel the watch vibrate on my wrist, and can check if it is a call or message I need to respond to.
An additional feature that I use more and more are the Health Apps. At 63, I am trying to be more aware of my health. The Heart Rate Monitor for checking my pulse is pretty darned accurate, and the watch does a very good job of keeping track of how many steps I have taken.
Looks. It is very stylish in my opinion. Nobody is going to mistake it for a Rolex or Tag Heuer, but it looks professional, unlike my previous Garmin Smart Watch. Nothing really wrong with my Garmin, it just looks like a gym, working outside, don’t care if it gets trashed kind of watch.
Overall, I am extremely happy with this purchase. Forgot to mention, it charges fast, and lasts a long time on that charge. Bonus!

It is a pity a watch of this price comes without complete features. No Blood Pressure monitoring feature. Poor battery power hardly last long for less than 24 hours. Disappointed and looks unless Samsung over come these draw backs and reverse its price, the success of this product is a big question mark. Worst thing is Samsung customer care USA is very weak and none over there has any idea of their own product and poorly trained and did not respond to my technical query

The watch has good battery life and has never had less that 50% life remaining after a full day’s wear. The watch has some issues managing a combined sleep score if there is a break in the sleep or a nap and sometimes seems to overlook one part of the sleep schedule. And the health apps throws advertisements for Samsung products at the top of the display which cannot be stopped.
The deal breaker: Unfortunately as has now been well documented, to use the ECG function you must use a Samsung phone. This issue was not explained when I purchased this watch and I am deeply disappointed in Samsung on what I feel is a misrepresentation.

Bought this a month ago and compared to my galaxy watch, it is an upgrade with regard to the its aesthetics. But since I am in SA, thats all is the difference. Other than the worse off battery life (due to a smaller battery vs. Galaxy Watch), blood pressures, blood oxygen and ECG are NOT supported in SA and no word on when this will become available either!. Furthermore the ECG has been released in USA and South Korea only when paired to a Samsung Galaxy phone! However, no such criteria was mentioned when the watch 3 was launched. Based on this, I have no doubt that when (if ever) we get these functions in SA, it will be locked to Samsung Galaxy phones as well! A blatant misrepresentation in the marketing material of this watch!.
It baffles me that we are being charged the same price as USA and other markets (where these functions are available) with hardware which we cannot use.
Overall – save your money. Buy the previous Galaxy Watch instead. Its a shame that there is no real competition in the Android market for Galaxy watch 3, allowing Samsung to get away with this.

Following Samsung promotion on Web that Watch3 can measure blood pressure, I bought one. However, Samsung Tech support said that Samsung Health Monitor Version 1.1.0105 is the newest version for the US market which doesn’t measure blood pressure. The current version should be 1.1.0175 in other country. Be aware.
