The Sak Alameda Crossbody

Update: The stitching around the zipper on one of the outer pockets has come undone already. I’ve accessed this pocket once or twice a day for less than 2 months. I only have the purse filled to about half capacity, so it is not heavy or overstuffed. When not in use, it hangs on a hook, so I have handled it gently. There is absolutely no reason this bag should have any wear showing yet. Buyer beware!

I agree with other reviewers that there is no way this is a leather bag as advertised. I knocked off a star for the false advertising. But the materials are all good quality and the stitching seems to be sound, so I feel like the price was appropriate. The other colors are priced at $90 and up, however, so if those bags are fake leather as well, they are way overpriced.

Some reviewers have noted a sub-par zipper. Mine was stiff at first, but loosened up quickly and now slides well after just a few days of minimal use.

The sizing in the description is accurate. I am able to carry glasses, phone, thin wallet, keys, mask, hand sanitizer, tissues, and lots of small personal items with room to spare.

The color and pattern are just as pictured. I love the blues and purples against the cream background. It’s feminine without being too dainty, and will look good with clothes for all seasons.

Like the Color, Leather and Finishing Touches… Always have like “The Sac” products….so wasn’t disappointed…. It’s GREAT!!!! Came when it was suppose to…no problems at all!!

This is my first “real” purse, meaning my first expensive (for me) leather bag. I had high hopes and did a lot of research before I bought it. I’m happy (mostly) with it, but there are a few things I’m surprised weren’t better designed.
Pros: Nice lines, soft leather, it’s kind of upscale casual boho. Adequate pockets. Seems well-constructed. Fits plenty and has room for my larger sunglasses case as well as my full-sized wallet with room to spare (but not tons).
Cons: Kind of standard (nothing really sets it apart, but that’s not terrible). The rear pocket sits a little low, so when I’m carrying it and there’s something I need to get to in there, I almost feel like I need to reach under the bag to get it. The strap is short for a crossbody. I have it at the full length and it still sits higher than I’m used to. When it’s full, it may look a little lumpy. Also, the fabric under the strap is coarse enough that it catches on fabrics. Not so much as to damage them, but it’s enough that you can’t really slide the strap over easily to adjust how the purse sits on your shoulder.

Overall, I’ll keep it and I’m not *un*happy with it, but I wish certain things were better for the price.

Great Quality Leather Purse a-little bigger than what I expected but hey, you can always use more room in a Purse! The inside of Purse has pretty turquoise cloth pattern with nice size pockets for your phone and will fit a bigger iPhone I have iPhone 7S and fits nice without it being snug and that’s with a case on it Also, has a zipper deep pocket inside of purse. Nice outside deep pockets which are bigger than regular zipper pockets on other purses. The Sak Purse is a great quality Purse and will last forever! I got an excellent price for this purse. Very happy with my purchase. The color is a pretty light beige. Will go with everything.
