I guess I’m missing something. Yes the fan is extremely quiet. You can’t hear a thing actually. The remote is lovely and it fixed a problem that I had with a switch behind a door in my front room, which I use as a studio for art and working. Yes, It looks amazing. Modern. Crisp. Spacey. With a white ceiling, it integrates the whole room.
My caveat? Where’s the wind? I have to stand directly under it to feel anything at all. Even then only the most marginal of breezes. Yes. I know there is a reversible motor. I know there is a duo directional. This ain’t my first time at the fan club. There are three speeds. At low and medium it is laughably nothing. With a 52″ inch wing span and five blades, I expected it to lift papers off the work table. No, bot even the rice paper from my Chinese calendar.
I am not going to take it down and disassemble it and put it back in the box and ship it back. There goes five hours of installation and one hundred dollars. I called the company and they had nothing to say.
I still have to use my box fan in the studio.
Which was the whole reason to get the ceiling fan.
Sigh.

This fan in very noisy to the point that it is unacceptable. The motor has a very loud hum even on low speed and gets louder at mid and high speed. I have 3 other ceiling fans which are silent at low and mid speeds. This was a requirement when I purchased this fan and I was misled by reviews that said it was quiet. I don’t know if they were reviewing the same fan but this is loud, useless for a bedroom. Because of delays getting the electrician here to install it, I was 2 days beyond the 30 day return. Electrician said this was the loudest fan he had ever installed and tried numerous things to get it quieter. Amazon rep refused to allow return and tried to contact product support for me but not available. This will probably go in the garbage. Expensive lesson learned.

Update: 2 wks after my son installed it: flush-mounted (took him 2 hrs, he’s a health care person, not a handy man) and it’s been running pretty continuously for 2 wks now. I mean I leave it on all night. Absolutely NO noise in low to middle speed; rushing wind sound at high speed. Quietest fan ever! I totally had to upgrade my initial assessment. It’s got reach for a 30’x20’ space, and cools the room right down! I recommend this fan now!!

I haven’t installed the fan yet. First, the Prime Day price was the same as everyday. Not a deal killer. Second, the box has a LOT of little pieces. Third, you CANNOT use a dimmable light switch, you must use a binary on/off switch on the wall. The remote will allow for dimming, apparently, but you MUST have dimmable bulbs. Makes sense. Comes with two E-26 Base LED bulbs. Fourth, the instructions seem complex to me, but I’m no engineer. There are 19 steps and 17 parts to complete to install. Fifth, the remote is the only way to manage the fan. I’ll be hiring an experienced handyman if I go forward. Just an FYI to novice installers.

I very specifically selected this particular brand for all of its features, elegant appearance, flush mount, quiet operation, ease of installation, 3 speed reversible, remote control, dimmable.
It doesn’t dim. My licensed electrician who installed it to be dimmable said it might need a different bulb or call the manufacturer as it could be a problem with the receiver or the remote.
Bought 3 different brands of dimmable bulbs, both LED and incandescent, did not dim.
Called the manufacturer and learned that the remote and receiver are programmed at the factory. If there is a problem, you have to pay to return both the fan and the remote as they can’t send you a new remote or determine where the problem is, they’d just have to replace it.
That left me with having to have the electrician come and remove the fan, and I’d have to pay shipping to get it back to the manufacturer, then I’d have to pay the electrician again to come back later and install the replacement, BUT clearly with no guarantee that the replacement would dim either.
This relatively inexpensive fan would become over $500 with ultimately no guarantee of receiving the advertised features.
If you want to be able to dim the light, do not buy this product.
It is quiet and it is pretty, it flush mounts, the remote is simple, it works, but I could have received all that with the purchase of cheaper fan that doesn’t claim to be dimmable.
Edit: The manufacturer also said you cannot get a second remote as each remote is individually programmed to the receiver. Make certain you don’t ever lose or break your remote or you will have to replace the entire fan to get a new remote.

This fan was one problem after another. The man on the phone that was trying to help the electrician, who tried everything btw, was very nice and tried to be helpful. There was sooo many problems! Sent the fan back! Horrible experience

This fan once installed has performed as the distributor stated in their sales and informative Amazon pages. Great start.
We like the variable integrated light range. Very nice as a not too bright whole room illumination.
But first the assembly. Everything is well detailed in the instructions. One just has to do that. As a 71 year old myself I found it easy. Moving from assembly to ceiling mount was about 4.5 hours. No hurry though.
The amount of air movement is adequate for our needs in a 18’x30’ room.
