Setup was extremely easy. Just plug it in and press 2 buttons in the correct order and it virtually installed itself.

Set-up of the Netgear AC1900 Extender took about 15 minutes using the iPhone app. This Netgear extender retains your Wi-Fi name. Laptops and phones are now getting full bars of Wi-Fi reception when used in the farthest end of the house away from the router. The extender also resets without any problems after a router outage or reboot.

Daisy chained two of these with a regular router. The router was installed in the corner office in a very large space. It didn’t reach most of the second floor, or even halfway across the building. When I installed these I put them on the second floor: one where there was a connection to the main router and the other down at the other end. Kept the ssid. They mapped out the network and the devices switched between devices almost seemlessly. Had service throughout the first and second floors. Not quite as good as a proper mesh network but still very nice. The service at the far end was slower due to the added jump, but on 5Ghz it was fast enough to stream HD and sometimes 4K. I am very pleased with the way it turned out.

I had a bit of difficulty to set up at first as I downloaded the app they recommended. In the end I googled and it was simple. It has extended my WiFi to my satisfaction and would recommend.

NETGEAR AC1900 WiFi Mesh Extender worked without any problems. And extended the wi-fi signal beyond where I had a problem. Well worth the price.

Absolutely perfect , very fast, I have my modem in my room and I wasn’t getting that strong of a signal in the living room so I got this and now I even get a signal sitting in my car in the driveway! Highly recommend

I always had issues with deadspots with my internet service. This extender works perfectly. I have service in the garage and also in my in-law apartment. I would recommend this product.

I wanted to test it a while before I gave the review it absolutely has boosted the range I’m able to take my tablet out into the backyard and work with it and my buffering on my Roku has improved absolutely would recommend it to somebody
