I thought this was going to be a good Tv because of the store Demo was good. Until i brought it home and tried watching low lighting scenes. This is the Edge Lit Back Lighting.
It is Terrible. Pictures say it all. I can’t watch this Tv

Terrible for gaming! I tried all of my games from GTA5 to Friday the 13th and they are ALL UNPLAYABLE!
The only thing this TV does for games is that it turns on the game mode automatically. ( big deal) the game is still laggy, tearing, glitchy, and jumping! DON’T BUY THIS!

the “polarizing film” on the screen looks like a temporary/protective film, not essential to its function. i searched product specs, manual, and virtual support assistant but found no information before mistakenly attempted to remove it thereby damaging my new tv. samsung evidently will not cover it under warranty.

1st off back panel of tv was loose. it was brand new but…. i guess ya never know.
picture compared to last years model is horrible. there is a rainbowish hue that is so bothering to me despite every calibration i did. so i decided to return it after 5 days.
local dimming feature and backlight are no longer available compared to last years model.
why would the latest tv in the series lose these features?

We love this T.V. Amazing picture, with great anti-glare characteristics. It does great in any sort of room lighting, but really shines in a bright and sunny room because of both its color brightness and anti-glare characteristics. The only knock in our book, and it is very minor, is that it is all black in is bezel and legs. A little bit of metal would give it a much more premium look, which given his T.V.s cost, is certainly justified. Would like to add a second one in our living room at our house.

we bought this samsung tv and when we took the protective corner foam off, the right side of the screen literally peeled off from the tv as we took it off exactly as directed! you can see the backlight from the side and the front! even with the tv off you can see where the screen has lifted.
to this day i’m not sure how a tv such as this one wouldn’t be considered defective if the screen comes off with the foam corner protective layer!
this would have been a nice addition to our home with all of it’s features – however we will have to now replace it with a competitor. we will not use samsung products for any other home improvements due to the cheap manufacturing quality.

we really liked this tv until today when it started glitching out and flickering a double image. i will not be purchasing another samsung tv if this is the quality of their electronics.

i was so happy to get this tv and the size is perfect. i love samsung but this tv let me down. the image quality is so bad and its blurry and looks like it’s dark and has such bad lighting. my old tv was much better than this. i dont want to return it but ive been messing around with the settings and cant find anything to make it desirable, especially when some settings are hollowed out. lowkey disappointed.

Very happy with this TV. Size and quality turned out as expected of a Qled. Just wished I was able to afford the higher quality version of this. Tried watching a few videos in 4K and it did not disappoint. You can see so much clarity on these videos. Contrast is not bad compared to Sony’s x900. Definitely recommend these if there’s ever a deal on them again ($600 Sam’s club gift card with tv costing $2k- essentially $1400).

bugs out alot/ fedex always delivers it either broken in some way or leaves it propped upside down on delivery if not home…even if its past freezing outside which will also damage it…also warranty does not cover any damages due to fed-ex. picture isnt great either. the better option is to go for the 55 4k hdr sony x90h its more expensive yes but WAY better in every way. looking at these 2 side to side samsung looks like garbage. side note, choose deliver to store/pick-up in store, that way if its damaged your warranty will cover it.
