My set is gray in color – same as my existing. It is however, longer than my exisitng a bit, so I would need to rearrange a space to fit the new set and replace my existing.
The package weighted 75 lb from the UPS shipping info. It was nicely packed and no damage was noted. The instructions were easy to follow, step by step, but it’s better to have an electric drill handy to speed up the process. No extra parts were available, just made even. It took me an hour to complete the process. There were no bent and dent noted on the item. It is high quality.

The Ameriwood Home Kensington TV stand is very attractive in the dove gray color and should fit in to most decor. The box arrived in perfect condition with no visible damage. The box however, is extremely heavy at around 70 pounds and you might need help moving the box. When the pieces of the stand were removed from the box, we inspected them carefully and there was no damage. The instructions were clear and concise, and all the hardware was included. I do recommend that two people put this TV stand together as it helps to have extra hands. The only mistake we made was in not paying attention that one end of some of the pieces are not finished, and they must be installed with the unfinished pieces facing towards the back. Other than our one mistake, assembling this stand was very straightforward. We really appreciate that the storage is on the end of each side and the contents are not visible therefore looking less cluttered. Our DVD and game console fits nicely and neatly in the open front areas of the stand and holds a great deal of items. Our 65-inch TV sits nicely on top and I think it all looks very attractive and orderly. The stand when assembled is almost 5 feet long, so make sure you have enough room for this very attractive and well-made unit.

I was missing one of the parts in the initial shipment and also mistakenly tore through one of the boards(My fault, used a wrong screw). Went to their site and was able to request replacement parts without any hassle. Parts arrived within 5 days.Kudos to excellent customer service

Needed a last minute tv stand. Not only was it the color we needed it was only $89. Can’t beat that at all. There were a lot of pieces took my husband about 2 hours and he’s pretty handy. Plenty of room for his game systems, cable box, etc. and we still have room around the tv stand we have a 55″

Love this tv stand! Super easy to assemble by yourself. Not too heavy to move around. I have a 55inch and it looks great on it and I like that the storage is on the sides. I’m also using a speaker bar with this stand and it sounds good because the sound travels through the open space of the stand and seems to amplify the it. One thing I have noticed is that if it’s on thicker carpet it leans back a little not too noticeable but can definitely see it from the side. Fast delivery and no damage to the box or the stand itself.

Came days earlier than expected. Took my mom and I an hour and a half to put together. I definitely suggest 2 people to assemble; although one person could do it, it’s just heavy. Light gray in color. Nice tv stand for the price!

Well it looks nice once all together. The things to be aware of is it’s cheap particle board so not nice oak or another wood like it looks in the picture.
Main problem I had was one of the pieces had the holes 3/8″ off from it’s proper location. When I put it together I had a big triangle gap in the front. I had to drill holes in the board E to make it fit together properly and than really couldn’t secure it well. It’s an obvious mistake in manfacturing. Another hole in the long piece was off and broke the back of the board. Thank goodness it can’t be seen fr the front.
The directions are good however they don’t make clear what side the fasteners should be put on, black or wood; I almost got my drill out for that until I realized the fasteners should be on the wood side.
It’s cheap. Didn’t go together solid because of the holes in the wrong location, but it looks nice when done. It should be cheaper for the quality. Also takes several hours to put together.

This tv stand is very nice in my living room however me and my grandmother put it together took us about 3 hours when we were finishing up putting the last piece on top it did not line up with the other piece I called customer service and they were closed on Saturday I do plan on calling them on Monday to have another top piece ordered. Disappointed they were not open on Saturdays. Also when it arrived the box was very heavy it does require at least two people to put this together. We went ahead and put it together the best we can but it’s not lined up. For $90 I do expect everything to fit how it should disappointed that it didn’t. Happy that it does fit my 65 inch TV was worried about that.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My one get to here before I was expecting it. The instructions wasn’t that great, it took my son an 1hr and 30 minutes to putting it together. The final version is wonderful I love it.

I was trying to get the most for my money and I don’t regret buying this item, but there were some quality issues. During assembly I noticed in some places the wood finish was chipped, or the screws or pegs wouldn’t fit 100% as expected but it came together at the end. I had one significant issue with the metal supports in the front corners, these would not screw on straight and led to one of the screws bulging the wood on the other side – not really noticeable once complete though. I made it through fine but the instructions could be a little clearer for less experienced customers. I thought it was a little odd the cubbies on the side are not sliding or swinging doors at all, they are just spaces accessible only from the sides of the unit – consider that if you’re putting one side against a wall.
It is fine for my very first TV stand, fits a 50″ TV great with room on the sides. I think it was worth the money, but next time I’m in the market I’ll spend a bit more for something higher quality.
