As a full-time professional photographer, I need access to my files at irregular times (waiting in line at Dr. office, motor vehicle office, and even at a photo session during idle times). My thumb drive is my answer to this, enabling me to be more efficient at random times. I simply pop this drive into my laptop, and I can edit photos on a plane, train, doctors lobby, or between sessions at a client’s office. No need for internet access, and it fits in my pocket.
Make sure you get a USB 3+ version if you work with large files.

Best Buy offers excellent selection and value in flash drives. On this occasion I needed a drive in a hurry to perform back ups of data files generated in my Intuit Quicken personal financial software. My PNY 256GB USB 3.0 flash drive fits the bill — backups are quick and efficient, and this drive will keep me going for many months.

I bought this flash drive for my PS4. The drive is actually 248 GB. Yes I’ve checked all file types and Yes I removed any odd partitions and YES I’ve reformatted in all types to check.

PNY 256 GB USB 3.0 Type A flash drive easily held over 22 hours of digitized VHS home video. Plastic cover slides forward to cover end when not in use. Back of plastic cover just large enough to affix sticker with title and brief description of contents. End of flash drive has small hole to affix lanyard. Also was on sale!

I’m using this for music. Since my new vehicle does not have a CD player I was forced to buy a USB Drive. I have 757 songs downloaded to it and I still have so much space left. I’m not good with computers but it was so easy to transfer my music. Just plug it in look for the file name and drag the music, plus YouTube has some good videos to help out. This is my first time buying this brand and it was less expensive than the other brands I’m super happy I can now listen to all my music!.

Works pretty good. Speeds are good for uploading documents on usb drive. Pretty easy to use and open in computer.
You can protect the head of the usb by pulling the cap over it. Data is around 215gb not 256gb though, but that’s normal.
Little expensive though.

This black/gray flash drive is a handy size and fits my needs when I have to work on projects. I label my flash drives and keep them in my backpack with easy access.
