a very fast laptop, i had to replace an old i3 1st gen from many years ago, this thing is very fast. Only thing i dont like so far is the letters printed on the keyboard, they are very thin and faint, you can barely see the letters without direct light. Oh, and the fact that UPS store charged me $5 to get my package, and best buy never said anything about fees to pick it up there. Great computer though for what i need.

Great speed! We bought it to replace an old laptop that was very slow to load anything. We needed it for Zoom meetings, research and letter writing. We had to change it out of S Mode so we could download the Zoom app, but it was so easy to do. In settings, we just followed the directions and the computer did the rest. Quick and easy! No problems. Great video for Zoom! Thinking of buying one as a gift for a relative.

Excellent computer. Everything I was looking for and more at a very reasonable price. Would highly recommend.

Good “bang for the buck” laptop. Bought as a gift to replace friends old and slow laptop.
Had Geek Squad do the data transfer, and now she has a serious upgrade. This is a system that is great for general use, business applications, accounting, documents, etc.
Not a gaming laptop, but if you need a good solid machine for school, this will serve you well.

Great configuration/specs for the price. But I wish this was available at 15.6″ or 14″ for similar price. This was the best configuration I could find at the price at I had to compromise at the size of this laptop. 17.3″ laptop in 2021 is a bit much. Especially at 1080p resolution.
11th gen i5
12gb ram
512gb ssd
Great specs for$600 aren’t they?

The price was amazing for all that you get with this. Any comparable laptop was at least $100 more and the specs weren’t even as good. The screen is bright and clear and the performance is very responsive.

This is an excellent laptop that I purchased to replace my old aging HP Pavilion from 2011. Although it has an I5 processor, it’s still faster than the old I7 processor and it’s much lighter. Overall, I am pleased with the quality and the performance.

$599 was a literal steal. Then up to $619. a Steal. NOW AT $729 fair…Be careful buying HP laptops on bestbuy right now. They were selling 10th gen models at the same time for more money. Not sure what is going on; all over map.
At the current price of $729 just keep an eye on it. The $599 price drop was just random. If you paid more WATCH EVERY DAY FOR PRICE DROPS. IMMEDIATE REFUND FOR 30 DAYS. If you see $629..dont hesitates
THIS PC AT $599. This is an entry level gaming PC that youll be surprised what you can play on this
Wow. The 8g 256 SSD model(now $619 was a a really good buy as $599..it dropped to $519 and I got the difference but this one dropped to $599 and I was a bit sad. hahha.
11th gen Intel processor with new iris graphics, Good luck trying to find anything close to that price. The new AMD Ryzen 5 is faster and better graphics though. And is always a tad cheaper) . 17″ 1080p IPS panel for that price. plus the other specs. NO WAY. I’ would have jump on this if it fell to $629.
No backlit keyboard. EASY TO UPGRADE RAM AND 2nd HD .Four screws and the bottom panel comes right off
My preference for brand laptops goes Asus(I’m leaving a few out)—-Then-HP-Dell-Acer
BIOS is very limited in doing much on an HP or Dell. I dont overclock my RAM or Processor. I don’t do much of anything in BIOS so I dont mind HP. Toshiba would have been above HP but they got out of the game, unfortunately.
As far as drivers go Dell always seems to have some issues
I’ll assume this came with a WD SSD NVMe PCI express m.2 drive. It seems the other brands this could also come with are just as good, though

You can download the WD Dashboard software to manage the drive. And a version of Acronis for WD. Learn to use it. Awesome system image software. You can do full system OS backups and if it crashes or stops working properly you’re right back up in 15 minutes from your last backup. Also other backup methods that can keep you backed up much more frequently but I do full image backups(offline. though you can do the online while using the PC) about once a week and simply back up my essential files more frequently. Gt them from WD website
There seems to be a price war going on for high end general purpose PCs
