I can play games and do my college stuff without S mode. However, FedEx was trash didn’t even tried to call and acted dumb with the address.

Bought for $429, excellent price.
1. The i3 11th Generation is very quick, no problems the way I use a computer.
2. 8 GB RAM is plenty of RAM for what I do.
3. Hard Drive space of 250 SSD is good. I am one of those that like Regular Hard Drives just as well, yet don’t need the space, and these start a bit faster, better for Windows 10.
4. The Display is FHD, 1080, and unlike AMD video Graphics is very crisp. AMD is certainly better for business, or Word Processing. This runs Movies while Streaming very well.
5. Sound is good. Have seen is cut out for a second or so, yet comes back fine.
6. Appearance of the Laptop is excellent, and Keyboard I find nice for typing.
7. A fine number of ports, two regular USB, Ethernet, HDMI, USB Type C, Memory Card.
8. The design is, as all modern laptops, there is no easy way to change the RAM, Hard Drive, and Battery, no DVD. I am a bit old-fashioned. The design is nice the way I and most people are going to use this computer.
Complaint: As most reviewers, the FAN is a bit loud on Restart, it seems to quiet down, and was fine streaming, “Space Cowboys.” That movie fits me. A older person with a BS in Computer Information Systems, and an ex-HP Rep, helping people buy computers and Printers in Best Buy, and other stores I cannot name in this review.

Very happy with my new HP laptop computer. It fits my needs perfectly at this time. It’s a little wider than I thought I wanted but the numeric keypad is important to me. I utilized Best Buy’s comparison feature online to decide on the computer that I wanted. It was very helpful for me.

amazing product great quality great specs- but the fan sound! The fan is so freaking loud loudest fan I’ve ever had on a computer or laptop! is it a dealbreaker? It might be for most!

I have no complaints about the HP 15.6 laptop. We also got a new router and modem and combined with the new laptop it’s now lightning fast to boot up and operate. The laptop was also on sale so that was an added bonus.

A good looking computer with decent specs for the price, however, when I turned it on for the first time the only thing i could notice is the cooling fan, which sounded like a high pitched leaf blower. There is no vent on the side like most laptops I am accustomed to, rather a single small vent on the bottom that serves as both intake and exhaust. Very inefficient. Even with the fan on high, I could barely feel any air moving. That this computer is so unpleasantly loud while only having a dual core i3 is pathetic. I have a 2019 Hp x360 laptop and really like it, which is why I bought another HP without hesitation. I am returning the laptop and I am looking at models from other brands which use proper cooling solutions.

I’m enjoying my new HP laptop. The I3 processor is fast and the display is great! It only makes a fan sound when powering up from restart. Setup was easy.
