I’m 6’3” and 200 lbs. I ordered 46 long. They fit perfect over jeans and a t-shirt. Even with a sweatshirt on if it’s a little nippy in the morning. Legs are big enough a guy can slip the big ol’ work boots down the pipes. The sleeves are tight enough not to get you wrapped up in the belt sander. What the fellas really want to know though is how they fit when you’re sittin’ on the ol’ roll around repacking wheel bearings. Lesser coveralls will ride up and put the old jewels in a world of hurt. Not these! A guy did some grinding and welding the other day. Nothing caught fire unlike that time one of my Amazon essential sweat shirts decided I would make a fine tiki torch. By the way, those sweatshirts make for a decent fire starter in case a fella has a need for a quick warming fire out in the bush. Speaking of which, this coverall makes a guy toasty enough he can turn down the heat just a touch in the old shop. That’s alright. Saves a few dollars on the electrons. You know I was thinkin’ a guy might want to get one more set of these coveralls so you always got a clean set. You know, for cleanin’ up proper and goin’ to town.

Bought one size up so I can layer non fr clothing under it for winter in the bakken. I wear ski pants under these with other layers and winter doesn’t get to me. Up top whatever it takes plus insulated water proof fr coat on top.

I’m 5’10 – 235lbs size 54 reg….It’s like the material and how it was sewn together was meant for a sheet of plywood..fits good on shoulders and upper body but it’s super baggy everywhere else especially the legs, the bottom of the coveralls almost completely covers my size 12 boot..looks ridiculous

I wear a size 36 Carhart pants and I lift weights so I’m kinda large at 5’11, 220. Nobody would say I was fat but I do have a little gut. I bought a size 44 regular and it fits around my waist the way it probably should. A little snug but I like things a little bagy though. The thighs are definitely roomy for big legs but when I stretch my hands over my head the material is way to tight in my crotch area. I literally have to move my dainties to one side because there is just no room for anything. I also had to cut about 2 inches off the bottom cuffs because I was stepping on them and the sleeves are about 2 or 3 inches short, but I wear long cuff rubber gloves so it works out. Overall I’m pleased with the quality, the material is good stuff. A little thicker so it may be warm depending. And there’s enough room for my arms and chest which I thought might be tight because I don’t really have a normal build. I’m also happy with the customer service, the first one I ordered was a size 36 and I couldn’t even get the things on. I got my exchange size in like 3 days.

This twill suit is wonderful. The weight is just right for warm Texas temperatures. The cloth is sturdy and the fit was marvelous. Sleeve and inseam length were very generous, and there was a little wiggle-room around the midsection for light layering as needed. The product is worth the investment.

Very Soft & Comfortable to wear all day but the number of pockets is minimal so I kept running out of storage spaces for my notebook, cell phone, etc.

I bought a pair of these coveralls primarily for use in my shop when I am welding. At 6’2″, I ordered 46L just so I would have ample length in the legs to fit over work boots – there is nothing worse than a hot spark that finds it way into your boot while in the middle of a critical weld. The 46L is a bit long in the sleeve and the legs, but for my use, the fit is perfect (even when squatting or sitting there is still ample coverage over ankle).
Out of the box, the flame resistant chemical treatment is obvious with a fairly strong smell. That went away with a quick wash in cold water, mild soap, and air dry on a hanger in the shop for a day. I’ve had them for a couple of weeks now, and wear them for a 2-3 hours daily. I’ve had several hours each day at the welder or grinder station with continuous hot metal sparks and spray coming in all directions, and the flame resistant properties are exactly as advertised. I see no signs of burn through. The welder puts out an intense amount of UV rays from the arc. Many cheaper (lighter) materials will let enough of the UV through that arc sunburn is common through many materials. With nothing but lightweight long sleeve and long leg underwear, I’ve not experienced any arc sunburn through the 9 oz material. Shop temperature varies from 50-70 degrees F. At the lower temperatures, these are just the right weight. However, when it warms up in the shop (70-72 F), I feel the heat – these do not breath, so air circulation is minimal (but if they did breath there would likely be UV leakage from the arc – so I tolerate the warmth in favor of UV protection)
For the purposes that I use them, these are perfect; I can find nothing to complain about yet. Zippers and snaps appear to be decent materials. Sewing at seams is double thread in some places, single thread in others. I would have preferred double thread seams everywhere for durability in shop wear, but I see nothing to suggest these will fail in normal wear in shop environment.
At $60 pair, they are more expensive than many others. BUT – the protection from UV and flying sparks and weld splatter is most important to me, and these Bulwark coveralls are exactly what I wanted and needed. I’ll buy another pair soon (these will need a second washing soon and I don’t want to be without them for the day or so that will take)

I’m 6’3 with a 38 waist and a 44 long is the smallest I’d go after buying this. The material is a little stretchy and it’s soft. It’s a no frills non-reflective FR shop suit. I’ve paid significantly more for “premium” models with nicer pockets and reflective bands and “ComfortSoftFlex” material and this easily compares in build quality. Can’t attest to its ability to self extinguish and save you from becoming a human torch, but unless you want to buy one just to test and destroy, you will just have to put your faith in its FR rating too.

High quality material for excellent price. On me it’s more of a slim fit than relax fit and I’m ok with it (I can wear any thing from 38R to 42S, as long as length at legs fits me). Shoulders, chest, arms and waist fits perfectly. All in all impressed.

I had previous purchased a pair of these for my husband and they fit great. This one seemed to run small (or maybe maybe husband is running big). He likes them but I would definitely order a size up. It did have a strange smell and my husband washed it with towels and other items. Don’t do this! Everything smelled like it. I suggest airing it out and then washing it. I would recommend this product.
