Bought these for my 12 year old daughter, for her martial arts classes. She has braces and these gum shields protect them well. At first she said they felt a little too big in her mouth, but unfortunately that was the smallest size I could get her. She was 11 then, but even then she got used to them quickly. As time has gone by they fit her more comfortably. They are so easy to look after and the quality is great. They’ve really protected her top and bottom braces well.

This mouth guard stays put and is extremely comfy and soft . Very easy for my daughter to slip over her top and bottom braces . As shown from the picture I inserted it clearly stated there is a case included . There was no case at all in the box , so if I want a case I will have to pay a extra £7.50 to do so . Slightly disappointed about this , but overall a great purchase since it is comfortable , easy to use and we do not have to remould it ( instant fit no boil and bite) every time my daughter’s teeth move during the braces process.

Got this for my son who just got braces. He plays basketball and soccer all year. Son said for the first week it might feel a little uncomfortable but once you get use to it, it feels comfortable and soothing. Once it gets warm it molds to your teeth. My son is 11 almost 12 and we got the youth size fits just right. It even has holes in the middle where they can breath. I think this really even helped with his first week of having braces so he could bite down from the pressure pain of the first week of having the braces put on. I recommend for any youth or adult to protect ur braces with physical activity sports, especially with wrestling boys.

Third time’s the charm. I finally found a mouth guard that fits my daughter’s mouth with braces. I first bought the adult sized one since it stated 12+ on the package and she’s 12. The adult size was way too big and bulky for her mouth. I then tried the youth size mouthpiece but it was only for the top. It was more comfortable for her than the adult size but she wanted the double braces youth size. So after over $50 worth of mouth pieces, I finally got this which makes her happy and comfortable. You do drool quite a bit with this type of mouthpiece.

I’ve had stitches and lost teeth in the past playing basketball so wearing a mouth guard is important to me. I’ve also worn mouth guards for jiujitsu. And I have my kids wear mouth guards for basketball and flag football. I’ve also owned the semi custom fit Shock Doctor Gel max. I really like this pair because is soft, comfortable, fits my mouth well, and I don’t need to do any custom fitting, I also love that it covers my top and bottom teeth. As well the breathing in the channel in the middle makes this mouth piece even more comfortable. The only minor thing to consider when getting this pair is that it will be harder to talk when both top and bottom teeth are covered. Thumbs up. So far my favorite mouth guard and I don’t have braces even though this is specifically designed for braces. Also, this fits in my Shock Doctor case well. I bought a new case and good thing too. The old cases weren’t as deep so it didn’t fit my old shock doctor case from many years ago. The new case I ordered with this mouth guard was much deeper and fit it well.

Good and comfortable mouth guard. Takes some getting used to but once you’re used to it it’s really good. I use it in my K1 sparring and have used it in an MMA bout and it holds up just fine and keeps my teeth in place just fine.

Best mouth piece we have found. My daughter plays basketball on a pretty physical team. So the minute she got braces I was asking about mouth guards. The orthodontic place said they would give her one that would be good. They gave her a boil one you get at the store and nothing for the bottoms. So before I left the parking lot I went on amazon and searched and read reviews. I didn’t want something that was going to gag her or she couldn’t breathe in cause breathing is already a issue for her. So I found this product. When it can I was a little worried cause it looks big a bulky. But she absolutely loves it. It fits snug to her braces and the breathing holes provide maximum air flow. Her only complaint is sometimes when she takes it out to get a drink it can tug on the braces.

Excellent mouthguard which does exactly what it was designed to do – buyer beware: this is NOT designed as a standard mouth guard so do your research. Many people moaning about a well designed product because they don’t understand what they’re buying. For my money one of the best fitting double brace mouth guards offering good all round protection.

So far, so good! I ordered the adult size for my 12 year old daughter because of some of the reviews. Unfortunately it gagged her because is was slightly too big. We ordered the youth size and she says it fits but maybe for “another year”. I am keeping both because they are reasonably priced. I just wanted to give reference for future purchasers.

Product works well at protecting the brace and from it catching on your gums. It is however near impossible to talk let alone scream to your team mates half a pitch away and taking it out to talk is largely not an option as when it is locked into place it is very hard to move/take out/put back in again. I play rugby (full back) so communication is very important, but despite all this there isn’t a better product on the market so I think you just have to take the rough with the smooth.

We bought this to be a smaller guard for my child with braces. Front teeth are not aligned and small mouth. These didn’t even come close to fitting. It wasn’t a size issue, it was the rigidity of the form that accepts the teeth. There was very little flexibility to accept misaligned teeth (which might be typical for a child with braces). It was also really bulky for a youth size. Also, Amazon should list when a product is not returnable on the website. There is no satisfaction guarantee of any kind. It’s just a gamble if it will work for your particular situation. Considering the far more flexible design our orthodontist then showed us, I could not recommend this product unless you know it’s a perfect fit and the bulk doesn’t bother you.

My 15 year old son has top and bottom braces. He couldn’t find a comfortable mouthpiece for nothing. I then thought to look on here and to my surprise, I found this mouthpiece. He loves it! He says it’s VERY comfortable and doesn’t hurt. I’d recommend this product any day!!

Perfect fit & bracket protection!
After reading many reviews, I decided to order the youth size (11-) for my almost 13 yr old daughter for her Hawaiian kempo mma class. She is slender, tall (5’3″ 105lbs) usually requiring everything else in adult sizes. I didn’t want to chance it being too large in her mouth, so I got youth. Right choice! Fits around her top and bottom braces brackets perfectly, not too big, she’s not gagging on it, and she can comfortably close her lips around it. She has yet to spar/grapple with it, but if it was a fail on fit, we would’ve known the moment she tried it on. No complaints!
