My vehicle is a 2015 Mazda 6 and I’ve been having trouble finding wipers that don’t leave streaks. I’ve been through quite a few pairs of wipers, some I have pitched within just a few weeks. I’ve tried the Mazda offering, a Bosch offering, and another Rain-X offering. This time around, I bought a Rain-X Fusion wiper for the drivers side only. Amazingly it is NOT leaving streaks, although the bottom half of the wiper could probably have firmer contact with the windshield. In other words, I am more than half happy. Anyhow, yes, I did need to use tape to secure the attachment clasp. And, yes, in order for the clasp to work at all, I first had to completely remove the clasp completely from the wiper. So, a strange work around that not everyone is going to be willing to do. Here is what I did: open the toe of the clasp, removed the heal of the clasp, inserted the wiper arm into the Fusion wiper, inserted the toe of the clasp, reattached the the heal. Yes, toe-then heal, but it all clicked in place. Then I applied a short piece of common black electrical tape to keep the clasp closed. The electrical tape has survived the winter snow and ice, as well, as direct winter sun. We’ll see how the tape reacts to the heat of summer. The tape is not at all noticeable. Meanwhile, the Bosch wiper is in the trunk should the Fusion fling itself off as described in other reviews. So, for me, the risk of wasting another 20 bucks or so has paid off as I am more than half happy….hence the four stars.

I bought this windshield wiper for my car a few months ago as a routine replacement. So far, I have been surprised and disappointed that this brand of wiper has not been as effective as cheaper ones I have bought over the years. Very early on after installation, I was already getting streaks when using it during rain. The bottom part of the wiper does not make contact well with the windshield. I am not sure why the design seems to work so poorly with my car, but, nevertheless, it has not proven to be a good choice for me. I would recommend avoiding this product.

Bought 4 if these blades for 2 of our vehicles. I’ve used rainx b4 so was confident of the quality I would get.
Arrived on time. installed all 4 in about
    10 min.
It snowed the following night, cleared the windshield the next morning lifted the blades ,cleared under and dropped the blades back on windshield. No problem, right? Wrong. The plastic frames cracked on 2 places on either side of the rocker mount. So I checked the other vehicle. Both blades were cracked the same way.
Maybe a bad batch? Who knows. But needless to say there going back. Guess I’ll go back to on of the ok ther name brand’s.

In previous reviews people mention there is a malfunction with one of the parts and they are right, i should have listened. The clasp comes out and your windshield wiper flies away. Shame, because the actual wiping part worked great and gave me a very clear windshield without streaks. I hope the manufacturer takes another look at this issue!

RAIN-X WINDSHIELD WIPER REPLACEMENT BLADE IS A PIECE OF CRAP .ORIGINAL SUBARU WIPER BLADE HAS A 1 PIECE PLASTIC THING WHERE YOU ATTACH WIPER BLADE. RAIN-X HAS A 2 PIECE PLASTIC THING THAT FALLS OUT WHEN TRYING TO ATTACH BLADE , WHAT JUNK ,HOPE IT WILL STAY ON CAR IN HEAVY USE. WILL USE TRICO OR OTHER COMPANY NEXT TIME

I was excited to get these, but in reading other reviews, it never quite contoured to my windshield properly either, and started missing sections pretty early on. Upon closer inspection today (it snowed), I noticed that the case of the blade is cracked abut 3/4 of the way up… and I’ve only had them for about 9 months… so they are not very durable either. Disappointed.

Installed pretty easily but for the money I would have expected better squeegee…

UPDATED: the above review was User Error. I found a small piece of plastic covering/ protecting the blade. I removed those and they work great.

My old GMC Sierra has a bad case of wiper chatter even in heavy rain. This issue slowly creeped up until it became too annoying to ignore. New wipers I thought would do the trick. Four sets later and finally these wipers operate chatter free as well as clean the glass streak free. I cannot comment on longevity because they are new but if you have a chattering problem with your wipers? These are worth trying. I had tried the helper spring trick, triton, Michelin, Bosch and all chattered.

There was only 1 in stock when I decided to do a late night purchase online for my 2003 Ford Ranger. It’s a J hook install, so it was installed in less than 5 minutes. It’s definitely got a different look to it than most blades, so the fact that mine don’t match right now is driving me crazy!
I have not been able to find the Fusion style in the store, so I’m patiently wait for them to be back in stock so I can order another one for the passenger side.
It works well and is sturdy.
