Do you want to start teaching your children to become card sharks at an early age? If so, these are ideal for small hands. Also good because the kids have no concept of keeping their cards to themselves and being fanned out in these holders means that you get to see what they have and beat them at Uno (finally).

I got what I ordered but I cannot believe I paid nearly £5 for a folded piece of cardboard with a flimsy little plastic handle. I anticipate it lasting about five minutes in the toy box! That’s if it lasts more than one game of cards with a four year old.

In the past when we’d play card games, we always had to team up with one adult and one kid because the little hands couldn’t hold the cards. With these, the cards fit easily right in the holder and the kids can see what they have. Even kids that don’t know how to play the game are now able to start learning. For instance, playing Uno, I can ask them without looking at their cards “do you have any cards that are yellow or have a 3 on them?” Then they can choose their own card. And you’d be surprised how many cards it holds! Quite a few “draw two” and “draw four” and this thing was still holding strong (pun intended)!

Hands down – my favorite thing! The price is a bit much, maybe because I needed 3 of them and I am cheap. But these are so good and whoever made them is a genius. We play cards all the time and the kids are always laying out their cards and everyone sees them and they get mad so and so looked but like the cards are right there how can they not look. Oh my gosh then I found these and had them in my cart for the longest time, as a 4 pack its over 20, then I found the singles and it was cheaper to get 3 that way. I got them for Christmas and at first the kids were hesitant but then I showed them what to do and it was like a lightbulb went off and they thought it was so great not to see each others cards. Everyone needs these for your little ones until they can hold their own cards!

Awesome. My 5 year old couldn’t play uno before we got this: she struggled to hold her cards. Now she really enjoys the game. One review on here seemed to say the card holder was made of cardboard. It’s not, it is made from robust plastic.

I like this, but it can be a bit fussy.
Pros:
1) holds cards for my little one while we are playing go fish. Yes, this is a pretty awesome attribute! I love that we don’t have to have a million little stands, etc around and her panicking that we can all see her cards.
2) has enough space to spread the cards out so she can see what is in her hand. Some are tiny. This one is actually quite large, but the hand piece is a very reasonable size for both a child or an adult.
Cons:
1) the big con for me is that it is a bit snug. This means that sometimes when you remove one card, others fall out. Annoying in my book as this means that she gets upset that we saw her cards. Yes, we can fix this with a little parent pretending, but it is annoying. People with enough dexterity to prevent this will not be bothered.

These things are GREAT – especially for games like Sushi Go! where you have to pass your hand from player to player. Having these really facilitates game play for the whole family, because younger kids don’t have to struggle with fanning cards, or even for adults who may have occupational difficulties from stroke or arthritis.
I will say that the blue rubber bottom handle might come off if you have a kid who likes to “pick” at things, so just keep an eye out for that.
These are so fantastic for family game night – buy enough for everyone in the family and any friends who might come over (we own 6 or 7 just for that reason)!

Purchased this because our 4yr old just started getting into card games that require him to hold a substantial amount of cards (Uno, Go Fish, Slapjack), and he would get frustrated because he couldn’t hold them in the ‘fan’ position to see everything he had. Enter this genius gadget. You hold the handle & easily stick the cards between the two flat pieces of plastic on the top. Done. Super easy for him to add or remove cards by himself, and fits at least 12, if not more. It’s a snug enough fit that no cards fall out either, even if there’s only one or two in there. Very durable, as well. I would highly recommend to anyone with kiddos playing card games, or even for an adult!

I originally purchased one of these card holders for my then-five-year-old to play Uno with, as he would become easily frustrated trying to hold and see all of his cards in one hand without dropping them all over the place. It’s such a simple little product, but so helpful. And we all ended up liking them so much that I bought two more card holders for the grown-ups, even though we don’t have “little hands.” It’s just easy to keep all your cards lined up nicely, and it also keeps the cards from being bent in the curve of your hands/fingers as you play. Cheap, simple, fun addition to family game night!

We play a lot of card games like Uno, Sleeping Queens and it such a useful aid to help younger ones to play independently. It will easily fit 7-8 cards and more than this will crowd the fan and the cards will not be visible easily.

We are card players. Ever since a child in the family was old enough to understand the games we play, they were taught. But we have always used some sort of cardboard barrier for the “too small hands” so they could lay all of their cards out on the table to be able to organize and see them. But since we discovered this little treasure, I will never go back to cardboard box barriers! Genius invention. And it’s a great way to get kiddos excited about brain stimulating games that are fun! Buy this! Even for yourself if holding cards is a challenge! Hey, my mother in law still uses one haha!

Started playing card games with my kids ages 6 and 8 they struggle seeing all cards when holding normally so this is ideal. We ply uno mostly and can end up with a few cards 10-20 at a time the kids can fit these in and hold one handed so makes it easier for them. Seem well made so should last a long time for the price
