While I did indeed get the advertised product, I did NOT realise that there is no heat sink or fan included in this price

With all the computer component shortages happening, AMD CPU prices have been driven up to where I am with many of the 5000 series out of stock, so I decided to give intel a try. Was not disappointed.
One of the best things about this CPU is how much you can overclock it, so make sure you buy a motherboard like the ASUS z490 that supports overclocking to unlock the full potential of this CPU. It does not come with a cooler or fan but, let’s be honest, you should always buy a separate one anyways.
After using this CPU for around 5 months now I can safely say it’s a great product.

Shipped quickly and arrived 5 days early. Was hesitant to purchase from some random seller but it arrived bubble wrapped in a box, then bubble wrapped again inside a second box. The outside box had clearly been kicked around during shipping but the product box was completely undamaged. Box still had intel factory seal
Great gaming CPU and running 4.9 all core OC at 1.34v under full load. 5.0 was running 1.38v which was a little high for my taste on a brand new chip

This is a huge jump in performance from my 4670k. Even with stock speeds games low utilization in demanding games like FS2020. This is the best bang for your buck for high performance gaming up to 1440p. For 4k I would go i7 or i9.

Paired mine with Corsair h60 liquid cooling. Warms to about 61c on all cores and instantly drops the temp to 38-42c on all cores. This thing flies! Runs comfortable on all cores @ 4.5 to 4.8 ghz.
If you’re looking for a modern, budget conscious processor for a gaming build that will also smoke everything you throw at it, then this is it.

Solid card that overclocks with ease and gives solid frame rates for gaming using recent and new gen GPUs. Best Intel bang for your buck unless you need more cores for rendering and video editing. Not as good value as AMD but best all around price to performance CPU for 10th gen Intel’s.

10600k is a great processor as anyone who has researched them knows. With my custom water cooling loop, and a z490 motherboard I’m running 5.1Ghz overclock, with 5.0Ghz all core overclock(standard all core is like 4.3Ghz I believe). Under a stress test my cpu temps do peak around 80C, though all my gaming loads have peaked temps around 50-60C.
The only hitch I had ordering this processor from Dealzone distributors was that the package was sent with “signature required” upon delivery option, and they were unable to change that. I work daylight hours so had a high chance of missing the delivery window. They(the seller) did at least promptly reply even though it was a holiday weekend. I ended up making a fedex account to change the delivery to “pick up at local fedex location” instead of delivery to my home because of the signature requirement.

Best CPU in the 10th gen lineup based on value, output, and current. Currently OC’d at 5.1 ghz stable with temps around low 60’s paired with a good AIO.

Its good enough for everyday use for regular ppl that dont actually use their pc for work. Games get better framerates than amd in 95% of games. Whole package cost exactly the same as amd but with intel stability since everythings designed with intel in mind first and then amd compatibility after

I was tired of my old Q66 lagging in the latest minecraft. It was my last build somewhere between 10 – 15 years ago and did a great job for what I needed, but it was time to upgrade. My love for the Gigabyte motherboard was hard to disregard during my new choices, because it worked well with Linux Mint (15 through 19) and my latest research indicated that they are still some of the most compatible boards. Anyway, I had to toss that in there, because I’m not sure if this CPU just happened to be a good combination with my new board or is just good in general. I decided on this CPU, because I read it was decent with graphics all on its own and my hope was that it would serve my purposes as such. I am not disappointed. All of the lag is gone! I can go in places I simply could not venture without nightmarish lag before – at 58 – 61 FPS without overclocking. This means I don’t have to plug anymore devices into my machine and additional cooling gear to keep it all cool. I am quite happy. I haven’t tried any Vulkan API related stuff yet, but I’m hoping it will handle it.

Look, this is a great processor. I use it in my build and I love it, but I bought one for my partner for his birthday and it showed up looking beat to hell. We’re not super pleased considering it’s a pretty delicate piece of tech. Like it wasn’t even in a box it showed up in an envelope. Not impressed, considering I bought the first one from Amazon too in October and had no issues.

It’s the best 10th gen chip in my opinion not for speed although it can be clocked high and give a clean gaming experience but for the power consumption, the temps, the pricing, and overall how good of a decision that Intel has made in making different variants of these cpus so that you dont kill your wallet. So all in all, thank you for a great cpu

Easy to install, OC’d to 4.5ghz right away on stock volts with new Asus mobo. What’s not to love?
