Looked at the big box stores but could not find what I was looking for. So glad I search Amazon as I found these. Price was great in comparison of some that I saw! I purchased the rubber wood and was a little hesitant on if paint would take but had no issue. Easy to hang but you have to actually have the head of the screw right to the wall to get them to not wobble.

I purchased two corbels for customizing some Ikea kitchen cabinets we are installing. They are both the same size and and are sanded quite well out of the box. There is some minor splintering on the the straight upper edge of one corbel and a very small knot in the wood that will require a little wood filler. I’m not concerned because I consider rubberwood paint grade and they will be painted. They could probably be stained but rubber would tends not to stain easily so if you are trying to match stained wood you may want a different species. I’ll will still use grain filler and sand and prime them because they will be sprayed with semi-gloss paint. One star off for the splintered edge and the knot. For the price they should be perfect.

Ordered these to support our new bar counter overhang in our kitchen. The Corbels/brackets were made of quality cherry wood with sections glued together to make one piece which is typical. All of the cuts to form the corbels were precision cut and routered and all four pieces were identical. The product was shipped overnight and we are very pleased with this purchase.

The brackets look good and are sturdy. I was wary at first about the thickness but they are quite thick and the design is simple yet elegant. I purchased three for a quartz countertop of 73 inches and they support it very well.
My only issue and why I left 4 stars instead of 5 is because the bracket embedded in the wood in the back is not always in the exact same location. It’s not off by much (one was 1/16, the other 1/32 but one was off by 1/8 of an inch). This means you have to measure each bracket before making holes otherwise they won’t be leveled to each other.

Despite reading some bad reviews, I bought a pair of these in Rubberwood. I just got them delivered right on time and to my surprise I opened the package and found two excellent
Pieces of millwork, beautifully made and both matching perfectly. All my fears were gone and I now have a project of staining and fitting them under the mantle shelf of my fireplace.

Love these little brackets. They were a fair price at just under $15. Now, I look on Amazon 2 weeks later and the price is over $22! What the heck is that about! That is like a 33% increase in the price in 2 weeks. That is price gouging. Pandemic is not an excuse for that kind of increase. For shame.

Very nice bracket. But seriously, what the hell is the point of selling shelf brackets ON THEIR OWN? I take full responsibility for not reading the item’s description carefully enough & making the mistake of assuming that shelf brackets would be sold in pairs, but it never entered my head that I’d only get one. Also, the postage charge on this item is outrageous & now I’ve got to pay it AGAIN!

I was looking for something simple to support shelving that would be easy to paint. I was a little surprised at the prices of some of the corbels as I began my search and this was least expensive and fit the bill. The project came out really nice.

I bought 8 of these and thank goodness I only needed 6. They were very well priced and arrived quickly. They look, size, and hardware is exactly as described. Very smooth finish that’s ready for stain or paint. I give 3 stars overall because two of the 8 pieces I bought for my shelves were abnormal. One had an acute angle, meaning the shelf sitting on top of it sloped down in the front. The other had mounting hardware attached to the back a little higher than the rest, meaning identically drilled screws could not attach to the bracket. Would buy again, just buy some spares!

Very poor workmanship and they tried to fix it with a water based glue it seems. The repair location is clearly visible as I stained it and a few minutes later, it fell apart. I would hate to think what would have happened if this had happened AFTER I had mounted it on the wall. Never buying anything from this company again.
I now have holes on my wall, ready mount this and really concerned about using this corbels.
Update: replacement was sent and guess what, that was defective with poor workmanship as well.

Rubberwood won’t stain well. So, after sanding, I used pre-stain wood conditioner, which should have made it stainable. Unfortunately, some kind of glue spots made the stain job blotchy. I don’t know how common those glue spots are with this vendor. I darkened the stain by retouching to almost black so the blemishes wouldn’t show.
The shape is lovely, but the glue spots discourage my buying again, unless I will be painting.

This is my third order of this product and I’m disappointed with the quality. All six have some imperfections. Paying full price for lesser quality is upsetting. Trying to see how to place them so the blemishes doesn’t show. Thinking about returning. By the way, blemishes were not visible through the plastic. Once plastic was removed, blemishes were visible.
