Nice filter, easy to install. Only caveat..the body is very smooth, I believe it’s nylon, SO WHEN YOU ATTACH THE LINES…USE ABOUT 5 WRAPS OF TEFLON TAPE… 3 WRAPS OR LESS WILL PROBABLY LEAK…as has been mentioned by others…but a good solid unit.
House is on city water, no issues with the pressure dropping.

I put in a 2 canister filtration system and this is the first filter in that system. It amazes me that even on “city water” this filters out so much. I am grossed out every time I change it.
I have a very active family of 4. And I am in the habit of changing this filter every 3 to 6 months.
Update…. I changed the filters after 3 months and am still grossed out by how much we were ingesting before we put the filters in. I had to take a picture of the old vs new filters.

Made by iSpring for their filters so it’s a perfect fit for my dual stage house filter. This is the first stage filter and cleans my city water unbelievably. After 5 months the filter is a deep rust color. The second stage filter hardly looks dirty and probably can go a couple months more before changing it. Night and day what my city water looks like after installing this filter in my house. I sense no loss of water pressure and water looks very clean.

I purchased the Ispring Whole House filtration system over a year ago. These filtes are excellent and really filter out the crap in our water here in Georgia. The one filter I change approx every 1.5 years as it goes for 36K+ gallons of water, while I change the pre-filter every 4 months. When I pull out the pre-filter it is orange as we have red clay here in Atlanta!
I love this system and the filters really do their job! Will continue to purchase these filters as needed.
