This pot is beautiful, nicely made and robust. Also the measurements on the inside of the pot is helpful. However… the handle being round and very smooth makes it a challenge to pour out the contents if your hands or the handle is wet or greasy. The handle should either be more flat or come with a cover for the handle. The work around is to of course have a towel in your hand to pick up the pot. Otherwise its great.

I wanted to love this pot. It’s solid, easy to clean, heats evenly and I like the somewhat curved bottom and seemed like great quality. However, we only used it twice to cook rice when I discovered the layer on the inside started chipping/flaking. We used wooden utensils and hand washed it so that wasn’t why (not that either one should matter with stainless cookware). It was an easy return to Amazon but we ended up getting a different brand as a replacement

Excellent quality and thick, solid, professional. People will think you’re a fancy chef with this pot. Might see this on Top Chef or Hells Kitchen. Should outlive most of my other cookware. Perfect size too.

This is a tough, every-day, workhorse of a pan. It’s heavy, uses less water and oil, and cooks evenly. I reach for it just about every day, have owned it for months, and it has never let me down. I need to add other sizes in this same set. I only wish that the lid was glass so I could see how the food is progressing but that is a quibble. It’s a great pot.

I got this around the holidays priced around $110 and best deal anywhere. This was a splurge for me and will last me a lifetime of cooking. I was looking for a stainless steel pot and this fit my needs right as I was looking for something smaller than my 8qt stock pot but larger than my 2qt pot. The lid and pot has a nice weight for me and fits right into my oven too. The handles on the side do not get hot and the lid is heavy enough that when you are boiling high temps, other than steam no noise or splattering of any kind shoots out everywhere and onto stovetop and floor. I’ve made chili, stew, boiled and mashed potatoes, mac and cheese, pasta, etc. it is a good size pot for a couple or small family. The handle on the lid doesn’t get too hot but you do need a towel or mitt as the lid is hot, just a tip. A universal pet peeve of mine nowadays rivets/screws from the handle are noticeable and is a pain to wash and scrape down. In my old pots there are no rivets in the inside so its seamless and you can scrape down pot well.

Everything I bought from Breville is high quality. 2 Espresso machines, a food processor another 3 quart pot. This one is solid, fast-heating, on our Miele induction cooktop. I have an All-Clad 4 quart pot, which is supreme. I have another Chantel 1 quart tri-ply, which is excellent. This one is faster than Chantel but slower than All-Clad. But seriously, at that speed, who cares about a few seconds difference? These replace the Circulon we bought from Macy’s. They are non-stick but do not tolerate high heat.

Was going to buy Al Clad but couldn’t get past the price point. So bought Breville instead. Started with the large 8qt pot first and loved it. The curved edges are great for storing. Even heat distribution too. So bought the rest. Heavy, holds heat very well, and love the measurements on the inside. Very happy with the purchase.

Wonderful material, will definitely last me. I bought this when offered during Amazon’s prime sale. This way I can justify the price when I make a box of macaroni and cheese. 😊

We converted from Calphalon to Breville when we bought our induction range. Breville’s even-cooking and much easier to clean than Calphalon. After two years, our Breville cookware still looks new. It’s the best cookware we’ve ever owned.
