Not sure what went wrong here but these don’t sit flat on any surface which causes any liquid to seep, making it impossible to work with.

These rings are much cheaper in their construction than I thought they would be. The gauge of steel used was much thinner than I expected, so be careful storing them, even picking them up and washing them could bend them out of shape permanently. ALSO – There are only two tiny spot welds at the joins, so I wonder how long it will take for thermal dynamics, cleaning and storage before I am forced to go shopping again. Even when I buy something like these rings, I expect something designed to last. Professional quality – not a consumable item to constantly repurchase.

Meh quality. Very flimsy and bend easily. The seam seams like it will pack full of egg easily and become impossible to clean…maybe ok for occasional use but I doubt I will keep them long

These are great. 4” in diameter. They are on the thinner side so I keep them stored in their original boxes to keep them protected. We’ve baked with them several times now. They clean up easy. The type of rolls we make are are gluten free, almond flour based. The dough does often stick to the sides a bit, so we use parchment to line the rings and it’s worked out perfectly. We’ve left them in the sink dirty overnight, still clean up easy. We air dry them, no rusting. These were a great purchase.

My wife grew up eating crumpets for breakfast, but it’s hard to find them in stores (and even when you find them, they’re not quite right, compared to what you might find overseas). So, I decided to surprise her and make crumpets at home.
Growing up in the states, I had no idea how to make crumpets, but after looking at a few recipes, I quickly learned that I needed crumpet rings. These were a decent price with good reviews, and they worked perfectly. The rings are solid, easy to clean, have smooth seams, and were easy to work with.

Very poor quality – thin, easy to bend out of shape. Plus there is a seam. Despite several tries with different types of greasing (oil, spray and finally Crisco) they stuck horribly. After four batches, I threw them out – with crumpets still attached.

I was trying to perfect gluten free crumpets. I had a box of Fox run english muffin rings, packaging looks identical to current Fox run packaging, much flimsier and even with hand washing they had rusted. Chose Norpro brand instead, far sturdier, obviously stainless steel and having made 12 batches of crumpets so far and hand washed, they still look as good as new. I will also now use them for gluten free rolls etc needing a form to stop them spreading.

I like these rings as they are easy to clean. I do not like these rings for the slipshod way they were made. The two ends of these rings are pressed together in two tiny spots. When I opened the package I was concerned about the construction. On the third use one popped open while cleaning. By then my window to return them had passed. I can still force it together just long enough for another use, however I wish they had come with a higher quality construction. Better luck next time.

These work great, but I wish they were slightly taller to accommodate the growth/rise of English muffins better. They clean as well as stainless should. As long as you grease them before each batch, there will be no sticking.
