I take just a bit when I go to bed and don’t cough the rest of the night. I have many allergies and one is to my cat. This is the first time I have tried Delsym Adult 12 Hour Relief Liquid Cough Medicine. The bottle is easy to open and close. The liquid was a nice consistency and easy to pour and measure into the attached dosing cup. I like the way the grape flavor tastes, it is not too weak or strong. It does not leave any after taste behind. I have had a very bad cough and no other medicine was helping me to get relief. I was able to take Delsym and get the relief I needed for a good nights sleep. Overall I really enjoyed taking Delsym. It is inevitable when you have a family that there is going to be colds and especially coughs. I really like that Delsym is a cough medicine that can suppress coughs most of the day with its time-release formula (around 12 hours) without having to take multiple doses during the day. It comes with a dosing cup so I know exactly how much I need to take. If I have to take cough medicine, I’m glad that it tastes good as this Delsym does with the grape flavor. Delsym Adult 12 hr Cough Relief is the ONLY product that gives me actual relief from a cough!! I have used tons of different cough medicines; But they never seem to work for a cough! It really seems to last forever, and I like the fact that you do not have to take as much as other cough medicines. I actually enjoy the orange flavor, too! Helps suppress my elderly mother’s chronic cough which is secondary to year round allergic rhinitis. Only wish it came in a larger size. And not so expensive. It’s Very effective though. Quite convenient given twice daily which surpasses the short acting formulation.
