The iOttie is a very solid and versatile car mount. I have tried a few others but none could give me what I wanted, A solid base for Phone and Camera. I have a Volvo S60 and the dash is curved and so I mounted the iOttie on the wind shield it worked fine for Phone and OK for camera but base always showed up in the Photo or video Photo 2. I finally decided to use the stick on base and place it on the dash speaker screen Photo 1. It works well and is pretty solid. Leave the suction cup protective plastic on while you figure out where you want to mount the iOttie because the suction cup is gummy and very difficult to unfasten once it attaches to a surface. To remove mine from mine for the wind shield I used an AAA card.

I work on a semi truck and this product works for me. Plays on a windshield stay still, no problem. Very nice.

I always have a problem trying to figure out where to put my phone when driving. Buying the iottie made everything easier. It’s easy to set up. Extremely easy to put your phone in. Like the box says only takes one touch to put in. The product also comes with a magnetic cord holder which I don’t use. Im not in the vehicle long enough to use it. When setting up on the dashboard there was a spot with no texture so I set it up with out the base. I believe if using on texture dash use base that is included. Works great on windshield as well. There is tightening device on the back, once loose your able to adjust the phone to your liking. Has a pivoting arm that can extend allowing different viewing angles. I’m happy camper.
