My house is not level, my room tilts slightly upwards. So when I stuck it on and closed the door. There was a small gap by the time it fully opened. So I had to unstick it, losing like 80% of its stickyness to lower it. When its lowered to cover it entirely, closing the door makes it stick to the floor and scrape. Maximum effort is needed to close the door. Whenever I open or close the door there is a squeak. I remedied this by spraying lemon scented dust cleaner on the floor and wiping it every few days. It polishes the wood floor while making it lubricated enough to open the door easily as well as make my room smell nice. So all in all, its not the products fault. Its my rooms fault, but I was pretty frustrated with it. Also. This, accompanied with foam strip lining the door frame, has reduced the sound from inside and outside dramatically. To the point where my brother had to knock on the door to wake me up whereas before, he could shout from his room to wake me up. Hard impact vibrations from my office chair on my dinky rug ontop of hardwood still vibrate through the floor and walls and can be felt on my old house floors though, so can’t do anything about that. :C

I purchased this hoping it would block my 1/2 inch gap on the bottom of my door, but didn’t expect much. I was pleasantly surprised! Not only did it cover the entire gap, it adhered well to my door. I no longer have a draft that makes my whole living room cold. I’m certain this product is already saving me money on heating. The strip does not look tacky or cheap and the adhesive is strong. I would recommend and purchase again.

I had a big gap underneath my front door that was allowing a draft and insects to pass through so I decided to try this product. So far I am happy with the result. It comes ready with adhesive. All you need to do is trim 1 end to make it the appropriate size for your door, then open the adhesive strip and press it on to apply. Keep in mind, the instructions suggest not opening the door for 12 hours after you put it on! So if you are doing your main entry, might be best to put in on in the evening when you won’t be exiting any time soon!

Bought this for the bottom of our cold room door and it works exactly as expected. It was easy to install, keeps the cold in and the heat out.

I have only applied this draft blocker today on the entry door to my apartment. I had hoped to block light from the hallway, stop the cool air from leaving my apartment, and reduce sound from the hall. I do not notice a difference in sound from the hall, though the blocker clearly reduces light and better insulates the door. At the purchase price (about $10), this is probably hard to beat. Unfortunately does not reduce the sound in any significant way for my apartment.
The blocker is a little narrower than expected, but that does not seem to be a problem. It also catches on the floor increasing friction when opening and closing the door. The blocker did not come with instructions of any kind which was okay for me as it is a simple process, but instructions could be worthwhile for some.

I applied one on the door of hardwood floor and another on one of carpet. When applying, it can be easily stretched to make it straight and even. The adhesion is strong while being removed easily for adjusting or re-applying. On the hardwood floor, it was perfectly and works great. No issue whatsoever. On the door of carpet floor, it works well once applied at an “optimal” height. I wish the silicon tip of the three-layer was softer so that it seals better while the door moves freely. It was little tricky to make the height adjustment. Hope the manufacture can make a carpet version – with softer silicon tip (longer middle layer) . Overall, I give 5 stars.

The biggest problem with this door sweep is that the adhesive is very gooey, and allows the sweep to migrate downward over time until it drags on the floor. I installed it with a ~1/8″ gap from the floor, and a couple of days later, it was dragging on the floor, which is not what I wanted. I lifted it back up so there was a gap again, and a few days later it was dragging again. I’ll lift it again, and this time tack it in place to see if that stops it.
Edit: I used heavy duty staples and painted them white to hold it in place, and it’s been good for a few weeks.

Great product. I needed this to put under two doors that are too high now that we took out our carpet. This stuff has strong adhesive and was so easy to use. I will buy more for the other doors in the house.

Does the job. I like how they can be removed and reinstalled if needed.
I live in an apartment building and this helps keeps uninvited pests and odors from permeating into my place.
They come with 2 units which was nice. I cut off the adhesive portions of the 2nd unit to act as a weather seal for the door frame since there was some gaps there too.
The one thing I didn’t anticipate was that the white ones l that I purchased, tend to let light in. My apartment’s hallways are lit up 24/7 and the light still gets through. Not a huge deal. Just something I noticed that might be worth mentioning.

Easy enough to put on. Can cut off any access easily with scissors. Still sticking well months later even with my dog pawing and scratching at the door the odd time

El adhesivo función muy bien sobre 2 superficies diferentes y el ancho y grosor permite hace muy buen sellado sin importar que la separación sea grade.

This is just what I needed. It was very easy to put on and even a little forgiving if you needed adjusting.
