Moen products are the best. Easy installation with good installation instructions. Delivery on time as usual.

I installed this faucet in a new vanity cabinet myself about 2 weeks ago. So far so good – no leaks. I do have 2 minor complaints:
1. The finish is a bit darker than the rest of the Brantford series accessories I installed to match. If you look at the photos of these items (tp holder, towel bar, toilet handle, round towel bar, and robe hooks) you may notice some of them, right now specifically the tp holder, appear slightly different than the others. However, I’ve found all of the accessories match, but this faucet was a little darker – not the bright brushed nickel in the above picture but a little duller. It’s not a huge deal, but I paid for perfection.
2. This is more to do with the required valve, but if you get this you have to get that as well. At an 8″ spread, you better have some nimble fingers to connect everything. The controls valve stems point toward each other and the actual faucet, and there is very little room to connect them. Combined with the bulky spacer plate for the faucet (which they lie about not needing if the vainty top is more than a 1/4″ deep) and it’s no fun installing this thing. Not to mention the connection hoses are all wrapped up on each other at an 8″ spread, since they extend to 16″. The snap connection feature is nice though, but there is a jumbled mess under the sink. Just a warning that it may take longer to install than you might think.
Also, the plastic cartridges were mentioned in another review, and I’ll keep an eye on that. It would appear the flow pathways are a very small cross shape that would likely clog if you had a lot of scale build up in older galvanized pipes.
AND, I can’t get the plunger to be water tight. There’s a slight drain even though it sits tight, despite making a few adjustments.

Came within a few days and was just as described. Haven’t changed out the old faucet yet as we are renovating the bathroom. Will add to this review when installed and tested.

The faucet looked great. However when my plumber tried to install it, the part that went under the spigot was missing from the package and the unit could not be installed. I had to have him reinstall the old unit (also a Moen) Their famous “buy it for looks, buy it for life” should be amended to “buy it for looks, buy it for life, but before you dismantle what you have, make certain all the parts are included in the packaging.” Someone in Quality Control is asleep at the switch.

I am happy with quality and look of this faucet set but was extremely frustrated that none of the valves came with this set and there is no mention that you NEED to buy it separately. After getting set up to install this in the remodeled bathroom I learned I was missing quite a few components. I researched and ordered the Moen 9000 Widespread Lavatory Rough-In Valve with Drain Assembly Featuring M-PACT Technology. I think some wording should be added to the description of this product so you know you have to buy the rough-in valve set as well. I don’t think it is common for people to just replace handles and the faucet so I am still confused why the valves wouldn’t be included in the set. Everything went together easily and as I said earlier the quality seems great but I wish I didn’t lose 2 days waiting for the valve set to be shipped.

This product is exactly as shown. Initially I was concerned because some of the reviews stated that this item was not a “low- arc” faucet, but a “high-arc”. Some very nice people replied to my inquiry and gave me the measurements from deck to top of spout. I have cabinet mirror that has to clear the faucet. This definitely is a low-arc and works beautifully; not only that, but it is beautiful!

I really love my new faucets (purchased 3 sets). It really adds a nice new look to our bathrooms. I cannot comment on the installation we add a plumber do the work. I was delivered quite fast. Everything in good shape and no missing parts.

Beware this is not a full faucet trim set. Does not come with all the valves needed and they cannot be found at any of your local box hardware stores. And return policy sucks. We just moved and do not currently have our printer yet, so hoping to be able to return it in time.

Great faucet set. First time I bought a faucet online and somehow I didn’t read that it was being sold “without valve” ! It was easy enough to buy the valve – the set we replaced was not Moen. Had it been Moen, this replacement would have been so fast and convenient. As it was, the install was easy enough and looks great.

The m-pact system is a good idea and is required if you buy this faucet set. This is just an expensive trim kit without any plumbing valves. I have the original m-pact faucets in my house from 1999-2003 so this is supposed to be compatible with that system. Unfortunately this kit and Moen did not work for me. My original spout has a Moen design flaw that allows water to easily drip down the hole for the spout knob and onto the m-pact deck assemble causing it to rust and become fused to the spout. This prevents the old spout from being removed using the m-pact system. Moen does not honor their lifetime warranty unless you can produce receipts for your original purchase and would not help correct this defect in any way. They also don’t sell the defective part and require me to buy an entirely new valve system which is now a cheaper plastic and not brass based system. I would not purchase this set on the assumption that you could use any older valves since there is no guarantee they will work. The kit does not even include new o-rings for the m-pact system so I think they are assuming you will end up buying new valves at ~$80.
I also noticed that this new system is considerably cheaper than my 15 year old Moen set. It has plastic threads instead of brass and contains less than half the metal content overall. It also is narrower and will thus show more of your counter which may be discolored. Now it is only assembled in the USA from foreign parts and not american made. It does however look pretty good when installed.
The m-pact system might work if you like to switch out fixtures every year or two but was an expensive waste of time and money for me. It is cheaper to use another brand that contains all the working parts and honors their warranty. Moen is not as good as they used to be and is too expensive for what you get now in my opinion.

Nice looking, work with standart Moen cartridge and tubing. Will see if the snap on tubing will work on long run
