My son uses a sound machine at home and I bought this one to use when we are out in the day or for overnight trips. There is an option to have continuous play which was important to me when looking for a portable sound machine as some machines time out after a certain time. I was worried about the battery life for overnight however the battery life has been great. It has held up even now with my second baby.

Worked great for a few months, then it stopped working. Opened the battery compartment and it had gotten hot enough to melt and discolor the plastic and batteries. Called the company and they didn’t seem to care about the device malfunctioning in this way and just offered me a coupon for their store.

We are pleased with this white noise machine! The sounds are pleasant and soothing, the volume control is good, and I love, love, love the hook. I would recommend two improvements to the product, however. First, it would be fantastic if they could back-light the buttons’ symbols with red light or make the symbols luminescent. I have to turn on the nightlight in order to change the sound or the volume. I recently accidentally turned the volume up during the night when I meant to turn it down! Baby stirred and I froze in terror. 😉 He needs the white noise a bit louder for naptime, and softer when going back to sleep after a night feeding. Which leads to another pro – the unit remembers your previous volume and sound selection, which is awesome! I also love the timer options. For the second suggestion, if they could add some sort of cushioning under the buttons, it would be great – if you’re not careful, they make a loud click when you press them. Overall, it’s a great product and is definitely working to soothe baby!

I love this handy little machine! Only thing I wish was different was the clip: it detaches fairly easily so my 1 year old likes to play with it.
Otherwise it’s an awesome investment!

As soon as I got the product, today, I bought AAA batteries as I was so excited to get this product to work but it just doesn’t work. Could you seller please tell me what this is about? Please give me a refund or send me a new one. This is UNACCEPTABLE. I thought this kind of a product which does not work at all from the beginning is one of those stories from others,,,, not mine. But this really happens to me with this white noise machine.

This works great and always helps both my kids settle down in the car for a nap. I did however think it was broken at first when I tried to turn it on because I did not realize I had to HOLD DOWN the on button for it to work. So word to the wise… hold the button DOWN lol

Its good for travel kind of disappointed in the max volume not that loud or i would love it. I wanted to use it as a daily regular not just for travel but hardly blocks any noise in babys room and batteries run out in a week when used daily

This thing is a magic machine. My 5 month old was only sleeping 15 minutes tops at naps for me and at daycare. Figured for the price we’d give it a shot and it worked wonders, now he does two, four hour naps! I ended up buying a second to send to daycare. I also feel like I sleep better if I use it.
Battery life was seriously impressive. I put the only AAAs I had in which I stole from an old remote and we used this for over a month for probably 14 hours a day on those used batteries.
Someone told me you shouldn’t use sounds machines for babies if it’s over 25 decibels and recommended an app to test it and on the lowest volume this comes in under. So that’s a plus too

My child has always been a poor sleeper. Since the age of 1yrs old, he would fall asleep at 8pm, wake up 2 hours later and then remain awake the rest of the night. Awake 22 hours a day, my wife and I could barely function. I turned to drinking 25 cups of coffee a day just to stay awake. I would carry around a jar of instant coffee in my waistband and basically was making 2 cups of coffee an hour just to function. My wife became a walking zombie. I once caught her eating a 8-day old yellow-fin steak at 3am in the morning. When I asked her what she was doing, she just looked at me and began to cry – but there were no tears. She was dry crying. That is when we decided we had had enough.
We purchased the MyBaby Soundspa on a wing and a prayer. We had tried everything else to get our child to sleep. We read over 10,000 pages of literature on the subject of child sleep, spent $31,000+ on a child sleep psychologist and sought out the guidance of religious leaders across the globe to find a solution. We met a shaman in the Peruvian rainforest named only “Forest Kevin” who cast a spell on our family. Turned out Forest Kevin was just a hobo who had camped out in the Peruvian forest and his spell was just him reading the label from the back of a shampoo bottle in Spanish. We were so desperate we would do just about anything.
The MyBaby Soundspa was the answer to our prayers. The first night we tried it, we hung it on the door to our son’s bedroom and put on the “Mozart” music. We waited in the kitchen for him to wake up, but lo and behold – he never did … until 3pm the next day. That first night he got 19 hours of sleep, and in the weeks and months that followed he would sleep for an average of 15 hours. This Soundspa was pure magic and for less than the price of a family meal at Sabarro, it had turned around our lives.
The problem became not that our child wouldn’t sleep, but now, that he would sleep too much. Sleeping 15 hours is great, but now that our child is older it presents a lot of problems trying to get him up for school. We tried to ween him off Soundspa, but the music is so engrained in his body and soul, that he simply cannot go to sleep without it. He will go through the day humming the classical tune and he tells us that he hears the song in his dreams. Now that he is a master on the piano, he is planning on writing a full classical concert based around the Soundspa baby song. The working title of the piece is “Sleepsounds from the 9th DImension”. We are not sure what this means, but we are encouraging him to explore this passion and we feel that we might have the next Mozart living under our roof.
Luckily, I am now down to only 17 cups of coffee a day and my wife has stopped eating raw tuna at 3am in the morning. We cannot thank MyBaby Soundspa enough for changing our lives.

My son sleeps with an expensive white noise machine every night. For travel, I wanted something small and lightweight and also cheap so if something happened I wouldn’t be upset. There are several sounds on this one but we use the white noise setting. It gets pretty loud and the volume settings are easy to use. I like the clip so you can hang it from anything. I also laid it on the floor and since the speaker is on the front there was no issues with muffled sound. It takes AAA batteries which are not included. I used it for 3 nights -about 11 hrs each night and it did not run out of juice. Highly recommend for a back up travel noise machine or for something on the go.

This sound machine is a nice size but the sound is not loud enough. The whole point of a portable sound machine is to drown out the noise on the go not the other way around. I’m currently at a loud restaurant and we are using my husbands phone because it’s louder than this machine.
Also the clip that comes with it does not work well. The machine kept coming out of the clip and falling on the floor.
The price is great and it runs a long time without a battery change but unless you’ll always be in a quiet room I would not recommend this item.

Bought this to travel with my little one. It’s very light and portable, and the battery lasted about a week. That said, the sound quality is awful – it is tinny, you can hear the loops, and there is an annoying thumping sound in the white noise. I would not recommend this product.
