Very disappointed and dissatisfied with the purple Samrtfab fabric. The quality is not on par with the dark blue, black or red fabric. The purple is 2 to 3 times thinner than the other colors. You’ll have to double or triple it to get the same thickness as the other colors. In addition, the color saturation is non-existent. I have purchased 5 of the rolls and this is the first time I have been disappointed.
NotSmall –
This a very inexpensive alternative to woven fabric. It looks good, is super easy to cut, and works well. I used it to swag the front of the stage you see in the picture with rope lights behind. The fabric softened and diffused the light beautifully for a pleasant glow. Pleating the fabric was easy, although it is stiff for a fabric and did not drape by itself. It had to be fluffed and guided a bit.
Inexpensive, easy to work with, roll up, and re-use. In fact the wrinkles from heavy pleating came out of it when it was rolled up and later opened up. Hold pins well, is not shiny, is translucent. No experience on how it sews, but I would think it would sew ok, but the seams would not be terribly strong. Great for crafts, decorating, or anything where you need a lot of fabric for a small amount of money.

I received this roll of black 48” x 120’ craft fabric today… after reading the reviews prior to ordering I decided I had no choice but to order as I could find nothing else similar. I was aware of the ratings but was still extremely disappointed on the quality of this product once I saw it. As mentioned in one review, it is nothing more than landscaping fabric or the fabric on the bottom of sofas or box springs. The first 3’/1m is useless as it came with two lengthy cuts (from a box cutter) on either end of the roll, that went through 3 or 4 layers of the fabric. The employee boxing it would have to be blind not to notice it. As I have no other options I will be keeping it. I’m giving it one star because it will be adequate for my project however it may still end up in my landscaping next spring.

Looks like a good product but expected it to be a bit thicker. Will be returning as I can’t use for crafts as expected and needed for my project.

I’m Judy not Ken. I have used this “material” for so many projects it is hard to remember them all. It is great for bulletin board background and for any object that you may want to add. I painted some white “fabric” to match the colors in my bedroom and made cornices for the windows in my bedroom. Most of the time I use double sided tape to “ sew” with. Now, this is not the type of tape used in wrapping paper. This tape comes in a roll without a dispenser. I made a Christmas tree draw string cover bag. It also can be sewn with a sewing machine just like regular fabric. But do not iron it! And I made curtains for my French doors. I covered seat cushions for my dining table chairs. I covered the cushions of my kitchen bar stools. Both of these projects used piping. I covered a bed pillow for decoration. It is great for making costumes. I’ll stop there because you get the idea. This can be used for about any project you can imagine. I’m in the process of making a sliding cable canopy for my back patio. I tested the material in the hot sun, rain and wind and it did great. I know it seems like you are getting more material than you could ever use but I’ve used up 4 huge rolls and just bought two more. I like the white because you can paint it any color you want. Buy this nonwoven material and get creative.

I love this stuff. This is my second time ordering it. Last year I used it in various projects. This time I ordered a big roll of it to make floor-to-ceiling room dividers in my studio apartment. Real fabric would be too expensive to do it all. This material looks just like real fabric and I don’t have to sew up the ends that I cut, which is great because that would be a lot of sewing for all of these room dividers, and I don’t have a sewing machine!

I used this to cover an old bulletin board that was rather badly stained and damaged…it worked great! It was a bit tricky to get the edges to stay down, while I had sticky fingers from the glue coming through the fabric. (I used craft glue, which held nicely)
I really like that it hides staple marks, if that makes sense. I’ve redone my bulletin board and the holes from the staples don’t show on the board at all!
I would say that, the edges will need to always have a border, as the glue left a yellowish mark where it came through the fabric. Having said this, I would strongly suggest only gluing it on the edges of your board!
There is so much on the roll that I will be using it to cover other boards, as well!

So the black fabric is basically the same as landscape cloth. With that being said, it is handy and works well. It is somewhat see through if there is back light behind it. It was easy to use and stretch over wooden frames to be used as a stage backdrop.

I bought thos to make a pattern out of for clothing. Honestly I think I was expecting something completely different but this is not bad stuff. To give you an idea of what this feels like in person if you’ve ever worked in the medical field and have had to put those booties on your feet this is the same material. Another way that I can put it is it if you’ve ever had surgery and you’ve had to wear a disposable gown then this is the same material. Maybe slightly thinner. It’s easy to cut and Sharpie does not bleed through.
And it’s easy to pin to fabric unlike craft paper because you’re just going to get a bunch of holes in the paper. Theres plenty of this material on this tube too. I can make a lot of patterns.

40 feet! I didn’t realize it was so much. Now I have enough filters for several years. This is the product that is exactly the PM2.5 filters that cost almost $1 apiece. I cut them down to size to fit the face mask and put two in the pocket. Easy and breathable.
This is such a cost savings.

I was hoping for a product very similar to Oly Fun. If you are looking for something water-resistant for making masks, keep looking. Compared to Oly Fun, this product is very water permeable, softer, thinner, quite a bit more flexible and, when held to your face, the odor is quite noticeable. It’s not a bad product in and of itself, just not what I wanted. The description was not good enough and there were not enough ratings for me to judge whether or not it would suit my needs. I will probably give it to a teacher to use in their home office as it is useless to me but will make a durable and colorful backdrop for digital classrooms.

I teach 6th grade and am sick of having to change my bulletin board paper every year because the paper has faded and/or ripped. This year, I decided to try this craft paper on my bulletin boards. So far, it has been awesome. It went up so easy, hasn’t ripped or faded, and is so bright and vibrant on the walls. I was able to cover 3 large boards with the one roll and still have some left over. also, every teacher who has visited my classroom has commented about the craft paper and how wonderful it looks. I plan on getting more colors for different projects in my classroom.
