Quick deliver, great price. The chest looks and feels solid. 1 hour protection and being waterproof were key features. I hope to never find out how well it works!

It arrived on time. It is heavy so hopefully it will protect my documents. I did have trouble turning the key. I noticed in another review that they said to put some WD-40 in the lock first. That worked and now the key turns effortlessly.

Nicely built 1 hour rated safe. It’s heavy which I knew prior to buying. The 30 minute rated safes are a lot lighter. I went with the 60 minute rating for peace of mind.
It seals airtight so there is a warning to ventilate occasionally. Makes sense, if the humidity is high when you close it, the humidity inside will remain high which could affect your paperwork.

Shipping was prompt and product as described. This is one of those items that is hard to write a product review on mainly because you don’t know how it will perform until it goes through a fire. I hope I never get to write a follow up review, but looking at this fireproof safe it looks like it is built for the job. I purchased this for electronic media. The fire ratings and water protection helped to sell me. Its heavy but I equate the weight to being more protective than some of the other lighter safes. All-in-all I am confident that in the event of fire, I am assured of the chance of the survival of my back up external hard drives, thumb drives, and SD cards.

Looks really good but be careful picking it up. It’s so heavy that it hurt my hand. Try padding the handle with something.

This is a big safe but very sturdy. Its a little heavy to carry but it’ll hold alot

Bought this for the longer fireproof time knowing the trade off is a heavier case. I’m happy with the quality and hope I never have to test the fireproofing. This is heavy enough that I don’t think most people would risk trying to carry it out with them if they happen to be home when a fire started.

Despite reading the negative reviews on the locking mechanism for the Honeywell 1114 safe I unwisely purchased this safe because of the size and fire protection. It was a mistake! After only a half dozen uses the lock has now seized and both keys have broken with just a minimal amount of force.
The safe itself is very nice but the lock and key are of “incredibly poor construction”.
I highly recommend that you do not purchase this product.
