The color matched the wood floor perfectly. This is the first time using it. I just hope it’s durable and long lasting.

Couldn’t find them anywhere, easy to use, and dried like a rock, so it was perfect, it won’t come off, so remove excess right away.

I have tried 3 colors in this so far and I can not get it to match Ipswitch. They are either too dark or too light but they miss the mark for what I need. They are easy enough to use but what is the point if you can’t match the color?

This product is better for scratches. To me it was to red for gunstock oak flooring. The stick is to brittle to get the putty into a nail hole unless you warm it up.

We used the Summer Oak stain and used this to fill a few dings in the wood. This goes on super dark. Unless it lightens over time, which is highly unlikely, this does not match Summer Oak at all. Not even remotely close. The only way it would come close is if you laid down 4-5 coats of the stain (i.e. made it much darker). We did two coats of the stain.
Giving it 3 stars because the actual filling process was pretty easy and it seems to be staying put really well.

This is a little too soft to fill a deep scratch. A minor scratch is effective for this product, but I had to use a Crayola crayon which has thicker wax to fill my deep scratch on my dresser when this didn’t work, then buff it with a paper towel. A crayon also costs a lot less.

We recently replaced the banister and railing on our stairs and bought this fill stick to go with “Provincial” stain color we used on both. This blended in perfectly. I really have to look to see where this is covering up the finishing nails and even then, it is difficult to find. Loved this product.

Bought to fill nail holes in a piece of cheery stained with Varathane Traditional Cheery Stain. It was a perfect match and the nail holes disappeared.
