If you are petite, thin, and not blessed with hips do not order this skirt. For reference I am 5’3 105 lbs. The hip part of this skirt is already sewn in so you better have a mega hour glass frame. The reason I gave it 3 stars instead of 1 is because the material is really nice and professional for the price. p.s If you do happen to be petite framed like me Dani’s Choice brand has snug fitting high waisted skirts. 🙂

Love this skirt! The fabric quality is great, nice and thick as others said. Thankfully due to other reviewers advice, I ordered a larger size than I normally wear & it worked out well! Will wear it to the office, looks professional. Can’t wait to order more colors.

I work at a corporate company and I have to dress to impress. I came across this skirt and bought it since I don’t own anything grey. I paired it with the FLORIA Womens Classic 3/4 Sleeve Open Front Cropped Cardigan and the Shoes 18 Womens Faux Leather Ballerina Ballet Flats Shoes W/Buckle. At work, my bestfriend told me that I looked like a kindergarten teacher (modest and professional). For references, I am 5’7″ and 210 lbs.

I am 137lbs, 5 ft 3, with a 29″ waist and 37″ hips. Here is my experience with the product.

+ MATERIAL: The skirt’s material is stretchy and of average quality. It is a medium thickness (you likely wouldn’t want to wear this in the summer). The stitching is fine. The overall appearance and feel of the fabric ties in with the price of the garment. For $16, I would be happy with this product if not for the fit. On that note…
    – FIT: Fits tight. I returned this because it hugs all of my curves (like, really hugs them) and would not be suitable for the office environment that I work in (unless I am looking for that kind of attention).
    – LENGTH: Too long for short women. Contrary to the photo, this skirt will fall a few inches below your knees if you are shorter and attempt to wear it across your midriff/lower waist. If you want it to end around your knees, you’ll have to hike it right up to waist/boob height, which just looks a bit awkward.

Summary: A reasonable price for an average-quality garment. Order a size up if you don’t want the material hugging your frame. Also, while it hugs curves, this garment is not shape-wear, so it won’t do anything to mask any lumps/bumps the wearer may be self-conscious about. If you’re shorter than 5 ft 6, this will likely fall below your knees.

The skirt is comfortable and fits as expected. Although I am usually size 4 and pants and a 2 in dresses, I am wider in the hips and smaller in the waist. I ordered a medium because I did not want the skirt to be too clingy. By ordering the medium, it fit exactly the way I wanted it to. I ordered the ivory skirt and wore a slip with it because it was a little see-through. When I wore it to work I had to keep pulling it down. It’s not like it would raise up a whole lot, but it did by a few inches, one or two. Maybe this was due to the slip underneath. I like the stretch in the skirt and the softness of the fabric.

I have two Eileen Fisher woolen pencil skirts, and wanted something lighter for early fall, and didn’t want to pay the price. I read the reviews and understood that for some the skirt runs small. That makes sense based on EF sizing. For me (EF x-tra small), the small size fit perfectly. My intention is to wear it over tights with ankle boots and and a long sweater whenever I take ballet or Pilates so that I can get in and out of class quickly. It’s a bit long, just on the knee or below (as the photo shows), but rolls and pulls up easily. It has some weight, which gives it a smooth look, is not flimsy, and will probably handle the stretch well enough for me to get some wear out of it.

This skirt is honestly the best quality skirt I’ve ever found on Amazon. However, I have very much an hourglass figure, with a 29″ waist and 43″ hips. I ordered an XL and it was SKIN TIGHT. So tight. But then poking out a few inches on both sides of my waist. I like my skirts more modest and loose so I’m returning it, but if you don’t have the same problems as me, it’s a great skirt.

The colour was a nice, jewel-tone … but I didn’t like the fit or material. I ordered 2 of the mini skirts in Burgundy and Charcoal. I only tried on one and didn’t bother to open the other. I was hoping for a cute/classy/sexy mini to wear with tights and knee boots … but it looked tight/cheap/short on me.
** I chose Large which is a size up from my usual Medium (numeric size 6/8) because I didn’t want it to fit too snug — but it did anyway.
** It’s a thick, bathing-suit material and soooo clingy 😥 and It hugged my curves way more than I wanted. Not my style. The skirt wasn’t actually tight at all and the waist was between comfortable to almost-loose.
**Extra Large would have been much too big in the waist.
    fyi, I’m 31″ waist and 41″ hips. I’m 5’7″ with 32″ inseam.
At first I gave it 2 stars, but I’ve changed my review to ⭐️⭐️⭐️. It’s likely more flattering on a different body type, as discussed in the Q&A.

Definitely buy one size above your normal size. I normally wear medium skirts, so I bought a Large and it fits perfectly. No slits in the back and completely stretchy all the way up. No zippers, no lining so the skirt is extra comfortable and easy to wear.

I love this. Looks good with everything I wear. I am 5’7″, ~26″ waist, ~34″ hips. For me, It is figure hugging, but still loose enough that it is office appropriate.

It is a thick material. Have not had any issues with it being see through. It is a tad hot in 30C+ weather since it is so tight.

I would have preferred the narrowed end of the skirt to be a bit looser for more maneuverability & air flow in the summer heat.

This is a great quality pencil skirt. The material is thick enough that it looks a lot more expensive than it is. My only problem was that I read a lot of reviews saying to order a size or two up from normal so I initially ordered a large which was way too big at the waist. I returned and got a small instead which fits great, and still has a little room at the waist. I’m a dress size 4 for reference.
