This is the only cup I’ve used for my daughter from 18+ months until now and she’s 4. It comes apart super easy to clean throughly. It’s the only cup that doesn’t get smelly or mold. I buy a new one about every 6 months and keep 2 at a time. Love these! They come with an extra straw in case she chewed on them at times or wore out. But being plastic I always like to replace it 6 months just for a fresh one!

My son loves this, and it does what it’s supposed to. It doesn’t leek whilst closed and in his nursery bag.

I am trying to avoid traditional Sippy cups for the reasons everyone knows. My 11 month old does well with the munchkin 360 but I wanted to get him on straws before we have to transition off his bottles. I tried SO many straw cups and he couldn’t really figure them out, I think because they took too much work to suck because of the ‘spill proof’ features. It was hard to find a cup that wasn’t totally open but also easy to suck! This works great! Getting another! Also easy to clean, and it barely leaks even when the straw is open since the liquid moves away from the bottom of the straw when it’s upside down- fab so far!

I bought several bottles to try, it is the best. No leaking, easy to drink.

Received our first one as a gift and my daughter has taken to the straw very well. She started drinking from it very early (maybe 6-7 months) and people were surprised she could use it so well at such a young age. I think the design makes it possible for babies to learn to drink through a straw. She prefers this cup over the transition sippy cups with the silicone tops. We left ours at a restaurant so I immediately order two more! I love that you can close the top and that it comes with an extra straw piece. I’m surprised more people haven’t tried or reviewed this cup!

Tip: when putting the straw back into the cap, push it in and then PULL it from the top and it will snap right back in. Maybe this is obvious to some but wanted to share 🙂

We started out with a Skip Hop sippy straw bottle that looks very similar in size and function. But this one is actually much better designed – although the Skip Hop decorations “look” cuter, they don’t last well. The picture on the Skip Hop bottle started rubbing off after a few months of use and hand washing only (no dishwasher). This bottle is also much more leak resistant! Although the bottles look similar from the outside, the straw on this green sprouts bottle has an extra flap that seals against the vent hole which prevents leaking. The Skip Hop bottle in comparison would leak easily if it was ever tipped on its side, so it’s more of a pain to take out of the house since I’m constantly having to worry about keeping it upright. The bottle is also easy to wash and to thread the straw back into place. Just wish they had some cuter looking designs to choose from!

I LOVE this bottle! I also have a camelbak child size bottle that I thought was great until I got this one. My son prefers this one. He is 15 months old and although he has figured out how to use the camelbak he difinitely prefers this one. I personally have tried both and this one is definitely easier to drink out of. He’ll drink the whole thing vs taking a few sips out of the camelbak. I also like that I can cover the straw part. If the straw is installed correctly there is virtually no leaking which is such a bonus! I’m considering buying another one to have around the house. As with any bottle I’ve tried none are completely leak proof but this one is really great!

It’s so weird – my bottle smells of mildew after sitting in it for just a few hours. I have many different cups and haven’t encountered this before. So I figured it would be our mealtime cup. But, now that she’s on milk, I understand the negative reviews. Bizarre. Totally leaks without being touched. Everything seems to be assembled properly.

I’ll have to see if the company has addressed this.

Our favorite straw cup by far! I have 16-month-old twins and they use these bottles for water for every meal/snack. They are super cute but also very user-friendly. I love that they are clear so you can see how much liquid is inside, and absolutely LOVE the ounce-markings on the side. They hold quite a bit and are very hardy, as they have survived MANY (and I mean A LOT) throws/drops on the ground. The cute little design on the bottle has also held up very well to numerous hand-washings every day. They are leak-proof when the lid is closed, and I love that it’s a one-piece lid that is easy to clean and great for travel/outings. The straw comes in 2 pieces, so there are a total of 4 parts to wash–bottle, lid, and 2 straw parts. It sounds like a lot but it’s not that bad at all. It also comes with an extra straw top in case your kid chews the first piece to oblivion (I haven’t had to use the spare part yet). The straw is fairly narrow but the standard straw brush for sippy cups should be sufficient. I just dismantle and throw all the parts in warm soapy water to soak at the end of the day and it works very well (but keep in mind I use these only for water–other liquids might need more of a scrub). No handles, but my 16-month-olds have been using these since before they turned 1, and they haven’t had any problems holding them. Sometimes water will come spewing out of the straw after the cup has been stored with the lid closed for a while, but this wasn’t a big deal for me–the other features of the cup have heavily outweighed that little nitpick for me (but again–this is no big deal for water but milk or juice might be a different story for others). Love Green Sprouts products.

Great at first, my 18 month old loved it, but this is the second one I have bought which has broken within days of its first use. I would expect it to withstand a toddler throwing it on the floor but twice now my little girl has thrown the bottles on the floor resulting in the hard plastic cap breaking. The first time I sent the bottle back and was refunded. I bought the same bottle again as I thought perhaps it was a one off but it happened again almost straight away. I have not tried to return the second bottle as I put it on the kitchen windowsill and forgot about it. Avoid if your toddler likes to throw things!

Love love love! My 19 month old drinks more water with this sippy than with others! I love that it’s easy to clean, and clear so you can see how much is left. Only complaint is it leaks a bit when tipped- although it may just be how I have it put together. We currently use it for our 19 month old with the tippy straw option although it comes with the normal straw option as well. Great price on amazon- especially for the blue whale cup.
