Will never buy another media! Great price and took my tumbling time from 12 hours down to 5 and I am 5 is on the high end. My brass has never looked better. I was using what came with the tumbler which worked but not nearly as well I assume it was corn cob. great media!

I have used this product before and it does a very nice job at getting the brass cleaned and prepped for reloading. You can get a lot of use out of this pack plus it contains some brass brightener to make your brass nice and shiny.

Ever so shiny. I do a two stage clean. First with citric acid (JUST A PINCH), ceramic media + soap, and water. Then I clear the brass and finish up in this stuff. Comes out brighter than new.

Results speak for themselves. My cat lost tgese three pieces out of the bunch. I found them and compared to another three I just tumbled. It comes with a polish powder which I like more than the frankfort polish. Also the untreated only gets diry off really. This gives a near wet tumble look. I did tumble them all in regular walnut initially.

I first opened the pkg that I promptly rec’d from AMZN. It’s walnut shells cut coarse perfectly for tumble cleaning rifle and pistol cases. It comes with a fine polishing powder (careful not to get it in your nose/mouth). That worked for a few tumbles of 5.56 brass. But then I just started using Nu-Finish car polish (poured gradually into tumbler full of walnut media) afterwards and brass comes out bright and looks factory new after 2 hrs (YMMV). Walnut shell cleans better on the inside of cases, IMO so it’s really good for precision rifle brass. Corn cob does fine too but I found it didn’t clean inside the cases as well and it didn’t last for as many tumbles. Typically i tumble 200-300 .40/10mm pistol cases and maybe 150-200 rifle cases at once… for reference.
I bought 15#’s of walnut and a bottle of nu-finish and I’m going strong with no end in sight! Highly recommended for those who want nice clean and good looking brass cases… works good on nickel cases also but 99% of mine are brass.

    HTH,

    – Dave
