I had this soundbar, bought it brand new but after using it for 2 days i found out the subwoofer mutes all the time, i can tell the bass is on and off every second. It sounded really good when it works as it supposed to but the issue bothers me a lot so i returned it.

I was a little hasitated to buy this soundbar but ended up ordering as I wanted to give it a chance. While there are too many options to choose from this one does not disapoint you. Crisp and clear soundbar with three sound setting to choose- music, movie and news. On top of that it supports dolby atmos. You can also adjust bass and treble if you want to customize sound. Bluetooth works without any problem. Overall a great product only thing I recommend is to connect using HDMI ARC on your TV. You won’t regret if you buy one. I am keeping mine as I am enjoying the sound coming out of philips.

Got this about 2 weeks ago and have no complaints, sounds amazing, sub is perfect (thing shakes my downstairs light fixtures not even turned up all the way). I am very happy with my purchase but I couldn’t say the same for my roommates…

Versatile sound bar, will make even a non smart TV sound great. But you need to have a smart blue ray/dvd player with apps( and at least 2 outputs) to utilize the full effect of the sound bar, until you get a smart TV that recognizes updated audio. My DVD’s sound so great it is as if I am watching them anew!

Excellent value for money, nice sound, even Dolby Atmos, at this price (paid 199) is insane. I was looking for a soundbar with multiple HDMI inputs and most in the market were pretty expensive. This one is half the price and sounds really good. Even with the slightly hiked price of 250 now, just get it. The 3.1 channel is better for movies due to the center channel and most 3.1 soundbar are expensive without multiple HDMI inputs. This thing worked right out of the box and the wifi subwoofer has a good clean thump, no sync issues like some others have reported. Hopefully this lasts a while without any issues.

Sound quality is good, but very undependable in its operation. The unit unexpectedly will stop working and we have to turn off our TV and then hope the sound bar again begins to operate properly. Very frustrating! I have returned this unit to the store.

Hello this will be the most accurate review for this sound bar by Philips.First of the sound bar and sub woofer is plenty loud not like some people are saying and no it does not sound like a tv speaker. The sound bar clarity is very good voices are clear and easily understood which is usually a good sign for sound bars. Also this sound bar has a bass treble and center channel volume adjustment which is great. The subwoofer has enough bass not overly bassy The remote is simple which is good. They could of added a night mode but Suspect they didn’t because it sounds good on low volume .Now onto the Dolby Atmos it’s not the greatest but can be heard in some cases .I watched mad max and overall the movie sounded pretty good and tested it on John wick 2 and the transformers. Not too bad. A few times the audio muted when using a fire stick in the movie fast fwd but a power restart of the sound bar fixed that. Over all for the money it’s a pretty good sound bar as long as your not expecting a lot of Atmos effects.
