I really thought after reading the reviews this would work for me but was sadly disappointed. The calf circumference is way too large for a smaller calf and if you’re any taller than 5’ it only reaches mid-calf.

I wear a 6.5 W in footwear, which is kind of hard to find. After seeing that these boots came in W sizes and reading the reviews about them being wide in the calves I decided to try them. My calves are 16″ around and these boots were at least an inch to an inch and a half too short to zip, they were plenty wide in the foot part but not anywhere else. I think the reviews saying that they’re wide in the calves were written by people with skinny legs because if your calves are bigger than about 14″ these WILL NOT fit you! Don’t always trust the reviews, always carefully read the item discrimination! Returning.

I ordered this boot in black. I love it! I read some reviews about it being a wide calf, but mine were not. I have thin calves so often times boots fit me too loosely. These are just right! I’m 5″3 and they hit right below the knee. Great product for the price paid.

Love the color and classic style of these riding boots. Calf fits great. Happy that they are animal-friendly faux leather. They do fit a bit narrow (or maybe just stiff!) around the foot. I expect that they will break in as they are worn.
