Built my own box to fit it underneath my truck seat in the back of an extended cab Silverado. As long as you run proper size power gauge and ground gauge wires, this thing hits HARD. I’ve had pioneers, alpines, other models kickers, dual, Rockford fosgate, boss, and Rockville subwoofers throughout my life, and this one 10” sub hit harder than any of the others I’ve had. The box is smaller than most of the other also. Even my 2 12” pioneers I had years ago, this kicker 10” hits harder than they did. I recommend it for sure, just make sure you have someone who knows what they are doing install it with the proper wiring, amp, and tuning it to your preferred specs. Those things make a significant difference in the performance. Also, an aftermarket stereo and speaker are a must in order to get the full potential out of this.

I replaced the blown sub in my Cadillac DTS with this, which required drilling new holes, but aside from that the subwoofer works great as a factory open air replacement used with the factory amp.

I’m genuinely really surprised how good the quality of this sub is. Bought it to set up a new sub/amp combo in a 2006 PT Cruiser. I fully expected to return this for the CompR sub instead. I paired this sub with the Metra 10″ sealed enclosure, and mounted it in the trunk of my PT. Paired it with the Kicker CX 400W (SKU: 6333354) and they go together incredibly well. Hooked it up easily to my Android Double DIN head unit, and the bass from this thing shakes the entire car. The mirrors shake, the trunk shakes and you feel every subsonic sound. Truly surprised by how awesome this thing is. I was planning on a pair of 12″ CompR’s, but I may not bother at this point

I built a box for a single down firing 10” kicker and installed it in my 2002 Jeep Wrangler Sahara behind the rear seat. The amp I am using is a 500WATT Pioneer GM-A3702. They work great together. The kicker hits hard and compliments the rest of the sound system in the Jeep. We also installed one of these woofers in a Ford Ranger, 2 in a Silverado 1500 and 2 in my Silverado 2500HD.
