little skeptical.i took mine up to the rocky mts for 3 night hot tipi tenting, it definitely got into the snow and moisture, no problems !used it as a latern while frantically chopping wood for stove, the high setting for lantern throws a surprisingly amount of light.now for the best part, its flashlight blew me away how far it throws a beam-torch.Now we are in tipi tent while snow at night cooking dinner, back to the latern on low and beaming plenty of light.Bedtime and throughout the whole night we leave soft red light on to see in tent in order to feed the fire throughout the night. That little amazing light worked various task from 6:00 pm to 6:00 am like a champ with well over 60% of its power remaining. The next morning it was clear and sunny, pulled out my little collapsible solar panel to charge and top off power, two hours and she was ready. This little lightweight amazing light did this for 3 nights 12 hours a day at 9000 ft elevation.what a little beast.Thank goodness I didnt get stuck or have a flat tire on the way home, BUT !! if I did I had my LeLED lantern that has a red flashing mode for warning and emergency. This light is sweet.Im not one to leave reviews but this light deserves it.Highly recommend even at home for sure,a preppers dream light.

Excellente torche.

OK, so it is a cheap lantern. Bought for use in the shed where thre is no main lighting, camping and use about the garden (live int he countryside and it gets very dark).

Very bright, very functional. Great product for the price. I don’t like the way the light dimmer function works but minor gripe on what is a great budget product. I suspect the lithium cell could be replaced if you are handy with a soldering iron but it is a shame that the product does not make this easy – I like to keep stuff working rather than resign to landfill so it is a shame the battery can’t be easily replaced but that is so common with so many products these days. The throw away culture is not good for the environment….

I bought this item for our camping holiday which has only just started so used the lantern for the first time last night! So far – it’s brilliant!! Came with a lot of charge and lit up our tent perfectly. Some reviews mentioned it was smaller than expected sothat came as no surprise. However, its small size is a bonus for us, not a negative. It packs such a decent punch with the light it emits and it will be easy to take with us when we take nighttime strolls in the areas near our campsite! Highly recommend this lovely little lantern/torch/emergency flashing light. And – we can charge it via our USB charging outlet! What’s not to like!

I LOVE this lantern! It’s way smaller than I thought it’d be but it is extremely bright! One of the attached photos shows it shining on a tree line that is about 100 yards away. It also has a dimmer setting that only uses half the lantern to save battery (see pic) and I use that most of the time because I don’t need it so bright.

I used it for a total of about three hours last weekend and the battery indicator says I used somewhere more than 25% but less than 50. The indicator is very handy so you know when it needs to be charged. You just press a button and it lights up what percentage the battery is. The attached cord is also nice so it doesn’t get lost, and it has hooks on the top so it can hang somewhere.

I’m very pleased with this lantern and have no complaints. If my review was helpful, please let me know!

Seriously if you want a good emergency/general use flashlight this is it. I bought this flashlight last year after power went out at our farm for a few days just to have something extra for charging cell phones/and lights/ect. It does exactly as described in that arena but it also does so much more. So being on a farm….we like to check the yard and fields before letting the dogs out to “ahem”. (seriously puppers should not meet porcupines/bears/you name it …bad day for everyone involved) The spotlight is wonderfully handy and way more powerful than expected. Also…the standard light is extremely handy. Since this is usb rechargeable… we simply recharge it when it gets to about 1/2 battery.. Can’t tell you how many times we grab this light in any given day. I bought second one for my wife since she “expressed” a desire to not have to search for “MY” light (married guys…you know 🙂 ) Again… no regrets on this purchase. Wife laughed when I originally bought the first light and was thrilled when she got her own. Soon buying three more for daughters… If you are asking me I would say get one. Good purchase…if not well have a good one at least 🙂

Edit : bought 4 more for presents and everyone loves em. As for mine a year and some change and I only love it more. Yes surprising fanboy territory but it really is that good. And no I don’t get any free product or own any stock or equity in the company 🙂

Great product and even better seller. I bought this lantern in March, I loved it but it didn’t hold a charge as long as I wanted so I rated it 3 stars. The seller contacted me to send me a new lantern, I wasn’t trying to complain or ask for a new one, I thought 3 stars was a good rating but the seller wanted me to feel like they deserved more, and they definitely deserve 5 stars! I have had problems with other camping equipment and all the sellers have told me that it has been more than 90 days so I’m out of luck! This seller truly wants the buyer to be happy.

Wow! At full power the spotlight is truly powerful (don’t even try to glance at it, trust me – I’m still seeing spots! – Seriously though, be careful not to point it at your pets eyes or anything when at full power).

It may appear smaller than you expect from the picture when you open the box (7″ long, 3.5″ diameter), but I quickly found that to be a benefit. (No need to make room for a pile of “C” cells!)

The magnetized wrap-around charging cord is elegant.

Tips: To dim the spotlight, turn it on and then half-press the on button to toggle between blindingly bright and just super bright. Also, to dim the lantern light, a momentary click of the button turns it on to the first white lantern setting, then if you click again AND HOLD, it will start dimming. (If you just momentarily click the button and don’t hold, it will switch to red light modes.)

Though I had read the reviews and knew that the product was smaller than it looked – I purchased it anyway – 1st Impressions were that it was a Good Bright Torch – however after 1 Months use, and just after the “You can request to return it” date, the torch – on the main beam only lasted 20 mins, the 4 blue led’s that show the charge held depreciate rapidly – even if the torch is not on – and when charging now the unit gets exceedingly hot.Saying this I may just have a duff unit! but I am unwilling to buy another one just to find out!

    Edit

The Company Contacted me and sent a replacement Unit – this unit worked fine and though not identical it was much better at keeping its charge and is much Brighter for Longer

I’ve a few torches and lamps that are very bright, but sometimes you need more gentle light that will last a long while, rather than ones designed for search and rescue.

This lantern is multi-purpose, and it does each one very well.

It’s not small but at around the size of a can of lager it’s not massive either. Fortunately it’s lightweight.

It certainly looks weatherproof as described, using the tight fit of the plastic rather than rubber seals to keep the water out. The front lens cover does twist off and is the only part you can readily open. The buttons are rubber coated, and there’s a rubber flap over the USB output at one end.

A quick press of the power button shows the battery level on four led’s. The next press is full 360 degree lamp illumination, the next 180 degree. This is great for when you only need to illuminate an area to one side of the lamp. The next press gives a red light all around, then the next is flashing red.

When showing the white light, you can hold the button down to gradually decrease the output. This is one of the main benefits of this lantern, as you can go from very bright down to a glow depending on your requirements and how long you want the battery to last. The red lights are a fixed brightness, which seems fair if they are for warning lights.

A button near the handle is for the torch. This is a press for full power, and one for half power. The beam is incredibly tight, better than any of my CREE zoom torches, and it’s perfectly round, too. There’s a general halo around this of over spill light which is useful. It’s still one of the best spot beams I’ve seen.

The body is a light plastic, the side handle clicking into place curved around the body, proud for carrying, or flat the other way to act as a stand. This seems the weakest part of the construction, but is still robust enough for general use.

The end has two metal hooks to hang the lamp from. They are quite clever in that they look like opposing ‘J’s allowing you to hook them on a rope then bring together to form an enclosed loop.

The USB charging port is a good addition, but as this is one 18650 battery at around 2600maH would be just enough to charge a couple of phones. The charge lead is the strangest. It’s a full sized USB connector that is wrapped around the case. At around 8″ long it’s just enough to connect to a power bank when sitting upright, and is only held in by the friction of the connector to the body housing. It would have preferred a micro USB socket to charge it from.

    Overall an excellent all-rounder.

This certainly has some very good features to it, the power button in the front operates the main light, in the back operates the side light and red light, very convenient I love that the power cord remains attached to the flashlight, I also like that you were able to see how much of a charge do you have when you plug in the Lantren Flashing blue lights help to let you know how much charge you need. Very easy to use. I only gave durability four stars only because it has not been tested yet as far as weather or any shock drops! Small but belts out a light punch!!!
