When it came in the mail he seriously started to cry as it brought back his child memories of having all the ghost busters toys. He said it looks exactly like the one he had growing up.

The doors open, the decals are lifelike and easy to put on, the top chair moves, the wheels move with ease, the design is sleek but functional, an it’s visually fun and appealing! It’s a product that’s really hours of fun for anyone of any age; especially adults showing children a piece of their past. Definitely recommend!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was the perfect addition to my kids Ghostbusters collection. They are huge fans of the movies(old and remake) and the tv show. They have yet to have the car until now. They have a ton of the action figures to the movies and show so they are loving this great car. Looks just like you would expect it to. Very happy with it. Very well made. Doors all open. Can move seat from top to back. Very highly recommended.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this Ghostbusters Kenner Classics The Real Ghostbusters Ecto-1 Retro Vehicle with Accessories for my honest review. First off, it’s pretty well made, and the front doors and trunk can be opened. It comes with 1 ghost accessory, other accessories are sold separately. It has movable wheels, and a swivel seat on top, and a claw to “catch” ghosts. My son really seems to enjoy it. I would definitely recommend. Would make a great gift for a Ghostbuster collector.

Several years ago, my Dad found an original REAL GHOSTBUSTERS Ecto-1 at an auction and bought it for me. It was in great shape, but missing a few pieces.
Today I received a reproduction of that toy that I pre-ordered months ago.
The reproduction is so close to the classic that if I did not know the difference I would not be able to tell. The people as Hasbro know what they are doing and I hope they keep making more reproductions of the toys I had as a kid as well as the ones I wanted but never got.

I preordered the Ecto-1 rerelease back in March of this year, excited to have a piece of my childhood that I never had as a kid. After a few months of waiting, I come home from work to find a package on my front porch. After dinner I sat down and opened it up, eager to have the vehicle I didn’t have as a kid. Imagine the disappointment when I opened up the box, pulled it out to discover that the gunner’s chair and ghost that is supposed to come with it wasn’t there! All that was in the box was the Ecto-1 vehicle, the stickers and the instructions.
It’s not the kind of Q/C I expect from Hasbro. I’ll have to get in touch with them about getting a replacement chair

Very disappointing. shipped in a box that looked perfect, but inside the box was already opened and looked like it was almost bent in half? Took a beating like airport luggage.

Amazing reproduction! Great toy! The commitment to the retro aesthetic (box art included!) is fantastic. The quality is great and authentic to the toys we know and love.

When this item was originally available online, it sold out almost immediately! For months, I’d check the page to no avail. On the off chance it was available, it was by some third-party retailer at WAY above retail. Thankfully, being a Walmart exclusive (stateside), the company got smart for a change and re-released the item in a somewhat never-ending re-stock, and boy I’m glad I waited!
This reissue absolutely hits me in the feels, as I’ve had multiple Ecto-1’s in my childhood (and sadly I destroyed every last one of them) and Hasbro re-did this one right! I was immediately transported back in time, and this vehicle playset pairs incredibly well for the reissued Kenner Real Ghostbusters action figure line! I truly hope to see more of this Kenner line expanded!
Well done, Hasbro, and Walmart, for keeping The Real Ghostbusters alive!!
