Only works when it feels like it, whether I take the phone out of the case or not. Frustrating, can’t find option on Amazon to ask seller any questions. Total waste of money. Don’t waste yours. (1 star)
Edit. Anker customer service has helped me with a solution and they are 2nd to none in their service (3 stars upgrade)

I’ll say this, I’m the type of guy that cannot breath without my phone.

When I got this product it took me 3hrs just to fully charge a Galaxy S7. While my original charger needs only 1hr20min when I charge my phone I like to look at it a few mins after it charges. But when I use this it barely just reaches another 1%. I dont know if that’s normal or just me because this is my first time charging like this.

I had planned on getting this product because I kept damaging the cord on my charger. But with something like this, it’ll force me to stop touching my phone. Turns out the charge time is very high. So right now it’s just not for me.

Works beautifully. It has a soft touch plastic feel on top that doesn’t let my phone slide around if I bump my table or nightstand.

Charges my iPhone 11 completely over 3-4 hours, which is fine, because I use it on my nightstand overnight, so my phone is available to me as I do not have a landline.

Quality is excellent, and I’ve used many Anker products in the past, always happy with them.

Does not overheat and charges nicely with Spigen Tough Armor Case on the iPhone 11.

I think this charger with its modest charging time and given the fact you don’t have to constantly plug and unplug your charging cable into your iPhone, will preserve the battery and the charging connector longer.

I have included a picture that shows the time it takes to charge the battery 1%, About 2 minutes, the same as the original 1 Amp charger that came with the iPhone 11.

I think it’s stupid that this doesn’t come with the specific plug required to power it and you have to buy it separately.
My other issue is I have to position my phone in exactly the right spot for it to take a charge. But when I was recently in an apple shop messing around with Belkin charging mats it didn’t matter where I put my phone, it charged wherever I put it.

Edit: I have increased the 3 star rating to a 5 star because of anker’s amazing customer service. They followed up on my feedback and informed me that the charging pad can run on a iPad plug or any plug that can supply 5V/2A.

I did have a wireless charger for my old Iphone 8, but it was quite small. Hitting the sweet spot for my XR and not accidentally knocking it off was quite a pain.

I purchased this for bedside use and so far my XR, in silicone case, has charged quickly and flawlessly every evening, and the use of the IOS charging intelligence of 80% and only 100% just before waking means I can be confident of leaving overnight.

I purchased this after my 2.5 year old Anker wireless charger didn’t complete charges on my phone overnight. It showed it charged but battery % didn’t move. This charges faster than the older 5W wireless chargers. It is unfortunately still a dirt magnet as the coating is rubbery and every single piece of anything sticks to the top and bottom. Other than that it charges fast and seems to have a good coil in it. Anker is great and they even gave me 10% off on this due to my old one failing and being out of warranty.

Just purchased a new iPhone 8 Plus and decided to venture into the wireless charging pad world. Did a ton of research and decided on purchasing 2 leading fast charge brands to perform my own side by side comparison. Anker Powerwave Pad 10W Max w/ Anker Quick Charge 3.0 Wall Adapter vs Yootech Wireless Charging Pad 10W Max w/ Yootech Quick Charge 3.0 Wall Adapter. I really wanted the Anker to out perform because visually it is the more appealing of the two. However, the results (which are list below) are very clear. Yootech is by far the more superior of the two based on my quick charge tests.

    Yootech
20 minute quick charge resulted in an avg of 14% increase in phone charge (no case on phone)
With a silicone case the same 20 minute test resulted in an avg of a 12% increase in battery charge

    Anker
20 minute quick charge resulted in an avg of 8.5% increase in phone charge (no case on phone)
With a silicone case the same 20 minute test resulted in an avg of 5% increase in battery charge

All trials were performed while the starting battery charge was in the range of 50-65% and while in airplane mode. Anker failed so miserably that it is difficult to believe that it could be marketed as quick charge technology. I returned the Anker and bought a second Yootech.

I bought this wireless charging pad and eventually had to buy an Anker 4.8A/24Watt Plug (how stupid is this, that why can’t they just sell it together rather than buying it separately, I’m unable to wrap my head around this.)
I tried charging my IPhone 11 Pro Max, it took about just over 3 hours and 20 mins to charge from 3% to full. As for my lighting USB C Cable that came with the Iphone, it does in 1:50-2:05 hrs.
I then tried my wife IPhone 8 and it doesn’t showcase any fast charging capacity as it’s meant to with a 24Watt plug, nor does it do a fast charge. May be it’s faster plug-pad combination than the older IPhones 8 and below which are supplied with 5W stock chargers. But I didn’t try that as it doesn’t accept or work with pad (which they have mentioned precisely).
I tried with different Apple Stock Charger 10W and even with that they here wasn’t any substantial difference.
I would only assume that the one provided with Newest IPhone is designed for speed charging.
I don’t have any other devices to examine but in reality I was just put off considering so many reviewers liked it.
All in all if you have an IPhone 11 and above use your cable it’s fast and energy efficient than the posh pad facility.
I will be returning it back.

Works like any wireless charger should. Sits at my desk at work and has a small footprint so it doesn’t take up much room. One thing to note is this does not come with a wall adapter, so only the charger and a micro usb to usb A cable. If your device supports fast wireless charging you’ll need to make sure the wall adapter you use has enough amperage.

Charges fast too. Just have to pull my magnetic back forward that covers my credit cards on the back of the cover for charging but not a big deal.

Use with my new Samsung Galaxy S10. No problems yet, and I’ve had it for a couple months. Works as expected! Admittedly, I don’t have testers like others for actual speed of charge, etc – but phone indicates it’s fast charging.
I have a Spiegen cover on my phone & no interference.
Generally, I like Anker products (and their pricing & cust service), which is why I went with this one, and so far this charger keeps that expectation met.

    Edit/Update
I originally gave this a lower score as it emitted a very distracting whining noise and I was ready to send it back for a refund. However, I’ve managed to eliminate the noise after trying a different combination of cable and USB plug. It seemed to be the combination of the cable and plug I used as I hadn’t had any problems with the plug before and the cable worked ok with other plugs. Much happier with it now that I’ve managed to eliminate the whining. Having said that, the plug that caused it to whine was at a higher power output than the one I’m now using and I wonder if the whining is related to the higher wattage. If so, it may affect the charger’s ability to charge at the faster 10W rates without having the whining noise. I haven’t been able to test this out as I don’t have any other plugs to test with that are designed to work at 10W or higher.

Otherwise, the design is good and whilst I’d prefer that the light turned off altogether whilst charging, it’s not too obtrusive in a dark room (unlike some other chargers).

I’ve also found it the most reliable for AirPods. One other charger I have is generally good with AirPods but is occasionally a little fussy about placement and won’t work when it probably should, meaning I have to be a little careful about placement and check each time. Another charger I have just doesn’t work with AirPods at all (unless a piece of paper or card is placed between the charger and the AirPods case). However, this Anker charger seems to have no problem at all and charges them each time.

If I could be confident that this charger won’t have the whining noise when used in conjunction with a plug of 10W or higher then I’d be happy to rate it higher but until I can get that assurance, I’ll keep it at 4/5
