Great adventure as a samurai. Facing the characters past, demons and invaders at the same time make for a great adventure. A must play game for next generation console, PS5.

Ghosts is one of the best games I’ve played recently. Graphics, sure, this game kills it. Amazing and stunning visuals. You can even play there game in Japanese-Cinema mode where its grainy/black and white like old school samurai movies. The gameplay is also incredible. Especially the multiplayers. Single player is realistic and gritty – multiplayer is mythological and badass. ,You can’t go wrong with this games. Also, the base game is huge – like 40+ hours – and this includes the single player expansion as well. So worth the money. I haven’t enjoyed or have been this enthusiastic about a ‘new’ game in a very long time!

It was a bad time for the empire. The Shogun just stayed inside his castle and he never came out. People said his brain was infected by devils, and that he is rotting with evil. The Shogun said the people were not loyal. He said he had a lot of enemies, but he killed more people than that. It was a bad time. Everybody living in fear, but still we were happy. My father would come home to mother, and when he had see her, he would forget about the killings. He wasn’t scared of the Shogun, but the Shogun was scared of him. Maybe that was the problem. That night, mother would sing for us, while father would go into his temple and pray for peace. He had prayed for things to get better. Then, one night the Shogun sent his ninja spies to our house. They were supposed to kill my father, but they didn’t. That was the night everything changed, forever. That was when my father left his samurai life and became a demon. He became an assassin, he walks the road of vengeance. And he took me with him. I don’t remember most of this myself. I only remember the Shogun’s ninja hunted us wherever we go. And the bodies falling. And the blood.”

This is a great game.
I was fortunate to be able to get a PlayStation 5 almost a month ago and this was the first game I decided to buy and try out on the new console.
I still have my old ps4 and it does look a lot better compared to that console. (I don’t think it was a ps4 pro)
The story is good already on the third part of the island and I did go to the IKI part as well and I am finishing off that story first. They do have some new items and quests in IKI island as well as a new armor which I think I like so far above the others one.
There is alot of gameplay so this won’t be a one weekend thing unless you plan to speed run it and not complete the side quests.

I bought the collectors edition last year and now after buying the PS5 directors cut id say my money was well spent. For a game that I would consider a masterpiece imo i don’t regret double dipping. The game just feels and looks better on PS5 not to mention the load times are non existent literally takes like 2 seconds. The iki island story expansion was pretty interesting I enjoyed it. Not a big tech specs guy but after playing both versions the PS5 felt wayyy smoother in both gameplay and frame rate. No cap Id definitely recommend the upgrade.
