[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have been having this Dream house for about 2 weeks now and my girls have not stopped playing with it!! they would rather play with their dream house than their devices! Which is a win win for me because they where spending too much time on them! They love this Dream house so much they have dance parties and pool parties with their barbies! They are completarla in love with it! Specially because this dream house is almost as tall as them! They love their elevator they use it to get their Barbie in a wheel chair up to the rooftop pool party! They love that they can move the pool and the puppy play area to a different area and also the slide! They have been enjoying this dream house since day one and I can gladly say I’m 100% sure they will keep using it every day! My 3 girls who are 11,9,7 put it together on their own in less than 45 minutes with no grown up help because they couldn’t wait for me to help after dinner!

I just wish the dolls had more articulation in the arms and legs so they can actually do a lot more. It would be cool if it could be folded up for easy storage without taking it apart cause it’s just so big!

From the pool/slide to the moving elevator, to the fabulous lights and sounds, it is a well thought out product! Here are the PRO’S and CON’S we found while playing with this awesome item!
PRO’S:
1. There are ENDLESS Opportunities for creative open play, we imagined so many scenarios and storylines with Barbie and friends. Kept us entertained for many hours of play!
2. Barbie and friends can actually go down the slide and land in the pool, this cause many giggles!
3. There are “morning” lights and sounds and same for evening which really adds to the ambiance while playing night/day.
4.The Disco dance area with lights and sounds is very dance inducing, we were dancing right along with Barbie!
5. The elevator really stops at all three floors.
6. We really liked that there were shower/toilet/cooking sounds and used them over and over.
7. There are plenty of beds for many sleep overs.
8. Loved the play grass and extra blankets and rugs
9. The pet area is adorable
10. LOVED the indents in table so that the tiny pieces stay put! And the added touch of hand soap dispenser, and shampoo bottles very cute.
CON’S
1. The bed that should fit under the bottom bunk arrived warped and bent so that it didn’t slide easily under the bunk bed.

2. While using the elevator, the refrigerator door CANNOT be open or it will stop the elevator’s progress. Frustrating for smaller kids.

3. The large “walls” or furniture that is supposed to be able to move around for customization we found we would rather it was permanently attached, maybe just add a turning possibility so that either side of the piece could be turned to imagine that scene. We couldn’t find a spot where we really liked these pieces and wanted it already attached.
4. We found a piece that we CANNOT figure out what it’s for! (Will post in pictures)
5. Did not like that the disco “ball” was not a full ball, only one sided.
All in all we LOVED the new Barbie Dreamhouse, it has all the bells and whistles and kept us immersed in fun play for hours. The video instructions were easily available and the instructions on paper were in the box, not hard to put together. The stickers were numbered very easy to find their spots. We were very pleased with this Barbie dream house.

When you open the box it can look daunting, but I can say this was easier to build the version sold a couple of years ago. Along with the instructions I recommend watching the assembly video as you go. Makes assembly a breeze. House is great for kids as there is a lot of flexibility to move furniture around, configure the slide several different ways, and of course the music and lights were a big hit. Highly recommend!

Love the sound effects from the shower and toilet, as well as the party music and lighting.
I would live in this house if I were a Barbie.
I was intimidated by all the parts when I first opened the box. However, because of the clear directions, I was able to account for all of the pieces and put the house together in about 45 minutes.
The house seems to be sturdy, very well made.
We really enjoy being able to personalize the house with the included items.
It’s significantly larger than any Barbie house I’ve ever seen.

Moveable pieces to use throughout the house invites creative play. Real lights and sounds for a fun party atmosphere. Assembly time was about an hour and a half.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have 2 girls who are Barbie fans and my eldest who is now 14 still had fun building this with her little sister who is 4. The building instructions with pictures helped a lot. Some of the number labels on the parts were a little confusing but overall was fun to put together. It also has accessories to customize it, complete with stickers. What we all love about it is the lights and sounds that make it so much more fun. The shower, toilet, oven and disco has sounds with press of button, as well as the light modes that dance with the music too. My daughters enjoy a lot of imaginative play. There is also a lot of fun on that pool as our cat loves to come and drink. Overall, this is worth it and makes kids of all ages who love Barbie enjoy it.

I gave my daughter eight options for a “Barbie” doll house for my granddaughter’s 4th birthday. They were all so cute and offered different styles and even some made of wood. She chose the Mattel Barbie house with outside elevator and a slide into a pool and grassy patio on the third floor. This house also offers three beds, a flushing (sound) toilet and water running (sound) in the shower along with lights in several rooms and several choices of music. It also came with a cat and dog and various items for them. My granddaughter and I assembled it together (no tools except for my Phillips screwdriver to open the compartment for the 3 batteries – which were included) and all the pieces were there in the box and fit together perfectly. She loves this house which is taller than her! And so does her 5 yr. old brother (Ken dolls). Many hours of fun ahead! I ordered it on-line from Walmart.com and it showed it would be delivered in 3 days… it came the next day!!

Its nice but some of the pieces came broken, the slide , i was upset
