The Apple Pencil is not only good for drawing but for using anything you would normally touch with a finger. It’s a very light touch and I have gotten used to using it instead of my finger for everything.

You cannot use iPad as a graphics tablet using ANYTHiNG other than the official Apple Pencil, in my case I purchased the Apple iPad 7th Generation, therefore the 1st Generation Pencil. I mean yea you could use off brand but….why would you want to????

I love this apple pencil its so useful for drawing! And for school, Im not that good in art so I would give it a try! Easy to connect just take off the cap and put the charger in your charging port in your ipad! Came with a replacment nib and a charging adapter, it works great! I just got it yesterday and it will update my review later, :). Thanks Walmart!

I was reluctant about getting this. Due to the price of course! I bought a cheap Apple Pencil alternative. Which of course was not good due to lagging/ lack of palm rejection and pen pressure. After looking into other alternatives. I figured just to go with the Apple Pencil for the full experience. Please if you can! As a digital artist! The apple pencil is worth it due to it’s functions! Especially the pen pressure (main reason I needed it!)

It is literally like drawing with a real pencil or pen or marker or whatever!! Seriously.
If it doesnt draw like the real thing, then contact your app developer! Beyond alllll other stylus pens ever made up to this point for Digital Artists!!!

I would give it five stars, but Apple has really quit including any instruction and relies on you to go to the website, where they instruct in bullet points that would fit on a small insert with the package. Anyway, I love the pen, ONCE I realized you had to really rely more on the tip. I tried to hold in a much more casual natural way at first and found it clunky. Then any app you find for sketching, you also are fighting learning the settings of it.
However, once I did get the hang of it, I started to be able to produce some okay sketches. I have a way to go, but I am using it with an Ipad 8th gen, and it is getting amazing results.

I love my Apple Pencil. It’s so light and easy to use and does a great job! Movements using feel smooth and it’s fun to use for painting, drawing, coloring, game playing, texting, writing and does so much! Very happy I decided to give it a try. I recommend the Apple Pencil 100%! I love mine so much that my husband got one too!

Do your research, but there are no other pencils that provides the precise pressure sensitivity for the iPads than this and Apple Pencil 2. Be sure to confirm you’re buying the correct version for your device as they are not interchangeable.
