Adele – 30 – Standard CD

My favorite is Easy On Me. Each song is so gentle and heart-felt. You can feel her sadness through each one.

Adele 30 is a huge departure from Adele 25. Virtually everything on Adele 25 was a Top 10 hit. Adele 30 in comparison may have only one or two hits like “Easy on Me” A couple of others are soothing and heartfelt. But the majority are bluesy, sad-sack rifts that don’t call to be heard over and over again. I’ve tried listening to the entire album several times hoping the less popular songs would grow on me–they didn’t. I mean–it is Adele. She works the notes with unmatched perfection. Sure, that magic is still there, but if you are looking for love ballads, save your money. If you are a forever admirer of Adele’s magical voice and don’t mind her departure from ballads, you might find Adele 30 interesting. Pulling no punches. I love Adele (one of the finest voices of the century), but Adele 30 did not come close to matching the infectious quality of songs on Adele 25. I was disappointed. Sorry fans.

Love cd came in great time

Well being that I own all of her previous CD’s of course Adele 30 is a CD I highly recommend you add to your music collection. Her incredible skill of writing songs is just one bonus of many when it comes to Adele. Her power house voice is beyond exceptional. And with this CD she said do not use the shuffle button or if you bought the album don’t skip over songs. She said this CD has a story to tell and she picked the order of the songs from the first song to the last one for a reason,like many artists do. If you’re an Adele fan already,you’ll love this new CD….if you’re not ……it’s your loss.
