I like to colour adult mandalas with Sharpies but I colour so many that I quickly run out of markers. I was happy to find this box with lots of different colours that should last me a long time. Thank you Sharpie!

I bought his during a one-day sale, specifically because Sharpies can be expensive and who doesn’t want to go back to the childhood days of buying 64ct boxes of Crayola… except with the adult version, which is Sharpies. The box includes a variety of assortments, such as fine and ultra-fine tips, and also has those coveted metallic Sharpies included in the set.
This box really covers a near life-time supply of Sharpies with all the variety and colors any person – from average to artist – might need. I do recommend it if you’re in the market for Sharpies.

Sadly I ended up having 4 defective markers amazon was nice enough to refund me , always make sure to test every one of them before actually using them. It’s not the companies fault just from the manufacturers. ever since I bought my new markers been colouring non stop with the adult colouring books so much better than colouring with pencils with the adult colour books.

I tested all of the sharpies, all but three work. I took pictures of how the three metallic (2 gold, 1 bronze) are defective. The picture of the pink sharpie show how there is a big crack in the cap of it. This sharpie tested perfectly, the problem is only aesthetic (luckily the crack in the cap does not expose the tip). Other than having problems with four of the sharpies the other one hundred and eleven work perfectly so far. I would give this review 5 stars if it were not for these four sharpies (two Gold Metallic, one Bronze Metallic, and the cap of the pink one) being defective.

I ordered two sets of these markers. In both sets, the same green coloured ultra fine marker was completely dry. The rest of the markers were fine. I really enjoy using Sharpies markers with my adult colouring books. Glad I ordered them.

If you love Sharpies, and who doesn’t, welcome to Heaven. This awesome box holds 115 Sharpies… all the Sharpies you could EVER need ….in a cool, fun, sturdy box. Just lift off the lid and find: – 40 Fine Tips – 42 Ultra Fine – 8 Chisel Tips – 8 Metallic – 5 Neon – 12 Dual pens (fine on one side and ultra fine on the other) In MANY colors! The colors and tip styles are shown on the box as well, which makes it easy to look for and find just what you need.
In case you’re from another planet and don’t know what you could possibly find to do with 115 Sharpies, I’ll try to give you some ideas: write grocery lists with them to better see what you wrote (esp if you’re middle aged!) at the store; label Ziploc bags when freezing food or measuring out kibble for the dog kennel; write notes to your kids when you really want them to pay attention; write on CDs (do people still burn CDs?); write on wrapping paper so you don’t have to buy the sticky labels but frenetic xmas morning kids can still easily see which gift is for whom; write on things you own to keep them from walking away (I’m a PT and they work great when I lend my equipment to the clinic but want to get it back); color in a coloring book if you have thick paper (or use something between the pages); draw on your teenager’s tongue when he sticks it out at you one too many times (I actually did this once… it was epic and is still a favorite story of my now-grown kids). That is just a small list of the many uses of Sharpies. Enjoy!

Update: I counted them again and decided to see if they all worked. The metallics are gone and 3 extra fine and 4 of the fine are gone as well. 8 of the markers are dried out and also 4 the tips are damaged. Definitely not what I was expecting. Caps were on the wrong pens and some weren’t closed correctly.
opened when they arrived and was so upset. There were 8 in the bottom of the box and they had leaked as the caps weren’t on. Then I decided to check the rest of the set. 7 pens were missing which included the metallic ones. I bought these for myself to try before I ordered 3 more for grandkids xmas. I guess will have to find something else for them. One more thing these were not organized by color or style, looked like they were just thrown in. As of 12/04 today I haven’t heard from the company. Still returning! I will look elsewhere!

Every single one of the metallics is dead. I haven’t tried all of the other markers yet. I grabbed random ones out and tested them…they all worked okay. But no working metallics AT ALL. What a bummer.

Big disappointment. I purchase smaller packages of Sharpies several times a year without any complaint. I finally binge on a large box of Sharpies (this one has 72 markers) and many of them were dried out before I could use them. I’ve never made a Sharpie purchase through Amazon that had even one marker I could not use-this collection came with a dozen unusable, dried out pens. I was so disappointed in the fact that I love Sharpies & I guess was spoiled by not having a single issue. Would never purchase a large amount again, and this one was $50.00.

I love my Sharpies! I use them for lots of different projects and have at least four sets of different nib sizes floating about right now — yet can never seem to find the one I want when I want it so I go out and get more. That’s one of the pluses to this collection, you have fine, ultrafine, metallic and neon in a wide variety of colors for every need. ( there are 29 ultra fine, the rest are all fine tips) The best part for me is how the box is divided into a tidy collection by color family. I can find the colored at least one close to what I want quicklywithout having it take up a lot of room. I can even slip some of my own designer colors or spares in there. Every household needs Sharpies, that ubiquitous permanent marker that many have imitated but few can match. Every artsy, craftsy, DIY and decorating junkie needs multiple sizes in multiple colors, so buy two. One to give and One to keep!

I am a sharpie fanatic. I have bought *thousands* of sharpies in the past couple of years. It’s the weird thing I collect. I use them for coloring, but I also use display them in marker stands in patterns as a sort of alternative style of pixel art. I know all the colors and all the variety of shades that come in the basic set, the electro-pop set, the 80’s glam set, the color burst set etc. Because I’ve bought all of those color sets, multiple times.
The best thing about this set is that you get all the colors from all those sets. If you bought those sets separately, there’s lots of overlap. They all have the same basic blue, the same black, the same purple, etc. There are only a few colors that are unique to each set. So if you buy all the individual sets, you’ll get lots of duplicates of the basic colors. Buy this awesome set and you get all the colors. And also the metallics!
Love this set. Best set to buy for any sharpie enthusiast who wants the full range of colors.

Fantastic colours and variety in this pack, and for less than a buck a pen. Can’t beat that.
I tested all the colours upon opening the set and they all worked flawlessly. The colours were vivid and quite appealing. You’ll notice a larger bronze scribble on the test paper I used. That was the bronze metallic marker. It seems the bronze ink is a bit slower to come out of the tip than the other inks. I tried both bronze markers provided in the set and they behaved the same way. If I used a slower pace with my shading it flowed like the other metallics.
Something to note is that when I opened the box the metallic markers were all upside down. I’m assuming this may be due to the polymers used in the ink, so as to keep them from settling in a strange way. I kept them inverted just incase this was intentional.
I would HIGHLY suggest this set for artists that like to experiment with inks/markers. These markers are very inexpensive when compared to Copic or Prismacolour, which will allow you to experiment more freely without worry about damaging your more expensive markers.
