I ordered this to wear after I was liberated from my special post-op sandal, while I was waiting to have the pin removed from the base of my big toe. I couldn’t tolerate a regular shoe, because everything in my closet pressed against the pin. This slipper has a very roomy toe box that could accommodate my swelling as well. I wore it to the grocery and the doctor’s office and got compliments on my cute shoes. I did have to be careful about weather. These are non-washable slippers and I doubt they would do well in rain. One fellow shopper made a note of the name for her friend with foot problems whose son is getting married.

These are wonderful. I got them for my sister, who has a few rare disorders and regularly has broken bones in her feet. She normally only wears fuzzy bedroom slippers, and I was sick of seeing those every day, every place. She says these are a “legitimate shoe” and it feels like she’s “walking on a cloud”. She has allergic reactions to *everything*, but not with these shoes. She hasn’t taken them off since she took them out of the box. I call that a win! Thank you so much for your quality product! Your fans for life, Judi and Jodi❤️ * she wears a 7.5, but I got her the 8 narrow to give her toes a little more room, and they were perfect.

I bought these for my 86 year old mother in law who lives in a nursing home and has Alzheimer’s. Her feet have gotten quite swollen and nothing she had for shoes were comfortable. When I took them out of the box to show her the shoes her eyes light up. They are the black ones with the white and gray flowers. She was quite excited about the look. I very carefully put them on her feet. She told me they were soooo comfortable. The Velcro straps help to be able to accommodate the amount of swelling she happens to have on any given day. I bought her a 10 extra extra wide. Now every time I see her she shows me her shoes. She calls them her dancing shoes. It’s quite funny because she spends most of her time in a wheelchair. I highly recommend these for people with swollen feet.

Being an 4E I thought these would be to large but they proved to be right for a swollen bandaged diabetic for which they are rated.

Ordered this as my last case scenario because I can’t seem to find shoes that don’t hurt my feet. I have really high insteps (bone on top of foot) & all the shoes I’ve tried push down on my instep & cut off blood circulation. I figure with the velcro on top, this shoe should be able to adjust throughout the day for when I’m walking or sitting & my feet swell. Unfortunately, when adjusting the velcro over my instep, the edge of the velcro no longer matches with the rest of the velcro & sticks out over the edge, making it push against the ankle when not moving. This then makes it rub against the ankle when walking & is very abrasive. If only it was 0.5 inch – 3/4 inch narrower, it would have been perfect! Very disappointed that these don’t fit since they feel great everywhere else in terms on my toe box, extra wide width, & high arches. I’ll just have to find a pair with skinnier Velcro’s in the future.

I have been trying to find a diabetic shoe to wear around the house. I had previously purchased from Amazon Dr. Comfort house shoes, but they are not worth $50 as they have no support to them and stretch out after awhile. I read the reviews for Propet Cush N Foot shoe which said they are comfortable for most people. This shoe has very little support in it, either. However, it is not nearly as bad as Dr. Comfort. I thought the shoes would be okay, however, so went ahead and wore them around the house. By the time I decided my feet hurt with these shoes, I realized I had spilled a small liquid stain on one of the shoes so could not return them. I have tried wearing them for several days but had such a backache from them as well as very painful feet each night. I hate that I wasted the money, but I should have been more careful while wearing them. I have diabetic neuropathy and arthritis in my feet; so I need a cushioned shoe with support. This shoe was not good for my feet. The shoe itself looked good and would be good for people who have swollen feet which I do not. I also bought an 8-1/2 wide as that is the size of another pair of Propet athletic shoes I had purchased before, but these shoes are shorter so should have purchased a size 9. I always buy an 8-1/2 in the Dr. Comfort diabetic shoes. These shoes run short compared to the other Propet shoes I have.

I have purchased 2 of these previously for my mom and they fit perfectly. Unfortunately this time they were too small. At least an inch shorter than the older size seven slipper. Very disappointed since this is the only company I could find that makes a narrow size.

I had previously bought a pair of these shoes for my mother, who is 90 and weighs 100 pounds soaking wet. She has problems with edema and needed something easy to get on and off an give her some support. I really didn’t look to closely at the shoes after they arrived I just took them to her and they fit and she seemed to like them quite well.
So I decided to buy myself a pair about a month after. Big Mistake. I wear a size 10, and my foot is wide, Ordered a 10 W. The shoes look nice, but I noticed on the pair that came for me they looked narrow. annnd they were. My foot actually bulged the sides of the shoe out over the sole. They also pinched my feet, my right foot big toe rubbed against the toe box and hurt and other than a very thin piece of foam insole with almost no arch support the shoe bed was hard like walking barefoot on a floor. I wore them for about 1/2 hour before I couldn’t take it anymore. I’m not returning the shoes, I don’t drive or get out much, so I’m sending them to goodwill rather than messing around with it. I will say they look well made, and the fabric covered neoprene is very soft, I don’t think a larger size would help my feet because they are too hard in the foot bed.

I ordered the size 9 4E width for my mom who has lymphedema, after looking up 4e width online where it said that was the widest width there is. When these arrived I tried them on her and they were both too snug in the length and too tight in width. I also tried them on, and can say for myself who is a size 9 wide width these were barely wide width, let alone 4e width, and fit more like a size 8.5. On a positive, and the reason I gave 2 stars instead of 1, the sole and construction of the slipper itself appeared durable and cushioned. So perhaps if you order .5 to 1 size up and don’t have very wide feet these would work.
