I had been keeping my eye on a Gravity Blanket for a couple of years and every time determined that it was too expensive. I did an exhaustive search of other blankets and tried to find a balance of quality and ability to fulfill my need, and landed here. I’ve been using this blanket about 10 days now.
The blanket quality is fine. The mink cover is soft and seems durable. The ties on the inside of the blanket have slipped once or twice, but it’s easy enough to fix (if a mild annoyance). Generally speaking, the blanket itself seems durable and well made.
But after 3 nights, I noticed the beads were running to the sides of the blankets. After 5 days, they were accumulated almost exclusively in the corners or off towards my feet (raising knees in bed will cause them to trickle down). I have to beat the blanket out every night before bed and this is a 20lb blanket we’re talking about. The beds do not stay, and I cannot achieve through brute force the ability to make an even weight as it arrived. When I read reviews, I thought “it can’t be that bad, and this is a good price,” when in fact, if I had realized what this would actually be like, I would have spent the extra money on a blanket that had stitched squares to keep the beads in place.
This would be excellent for kids and lounging. I like it, but it definitely isn’t doing what I had purchased it for.

This is a lovely weighted blanket. The weight is equally spaced out and lovely quality. However I did have to return it as it was way to heavy for me and having fibromyalgia I know if I struggle now in a few years I won’t be able to pull it back off myself without help xx I am disappointed as they don’t do a king size in 7kg xx so having to look for a similar one but should they have one when I’m looking then I will be repurchasing the lighter one

I’ve read about weighted blankets for the last few years, and finally took the plunge. I’m older, was having trouble sleeping, and wanted to stay away from medications. After a lot of research, the Quility blanket had all the features I wanted: especially the lower weight option (I’m about 125 pounds). Other positives are price, cover, and glass beads for weight. After about a week of use, I definitely fall asleep a lot faster and stay asleep during the night. Using it without the cover now and just sheets on bed because of the summer heat — but blanket is not hot. The Quility appears to be of high quality, even though made in China, and was well packaged.

Love love this blanket. It took a few nights to get used to it.
But once I got used to it was awesome sleep better than I have
in a long time. My friend ordered one for her and her husband
when I told her about how much it had changed my sleep.

It’s a nice soft heavy weighted blanket. Does it help my anxiety not so much. Does it help me from tossing and turning a little bit. It does help my sheets stay in place. It’s a good size blanket for one person. To me it’s a better nap blanket than an 8 hr one. The reason I’m saying this is because the weight in the blanket moves around. If it was evened out in the sowed up squares where it doesn’t move it would be 10 times better. Some parts of my body has weight other parts dont. Which brings more anxiety because its bugging the crap out of me as to why they didnt even it out.

I bought this weighted blanket after hearing about how effective it can be to enhance good sleep. It has taken me several weeks to get used to it but I am glad that I persevered. I do sleep better with it, but the additional weight can sometimes feel too much. It certainly does promote more restful sleep and I consider it to be effective for the purpose for which it was designed. Whether it will prove to be too hot in the summer remains to be seen.

We discovered that my 17 year old son may have some sensory processing issues and on a hunch I purchased this blanket for him (15lb version). When it arrived it was neatly packaged and felt HEAVY, I was concerned I may have gotten too heavy of a blanket, but I brought it up to him.
He put the duvet cover on and slept with it overnight, when I saw him the next day he was responsive and looked rested, I asked how he liked it and he BEAMED, he loved it. Said he started to get antsy and pulled the blanket up, calmed right down. The soft-silky feel of the duvet was perfect for him, he loves any blanket with that texture.
Since then I have noticed he is more engaging, overall in a better, happier mood, and things that are stressing him out are not affecting him at the same level (as far as I can tell).
My only regret is not having found this product sooner.

* I don’t like writing really bad reviews, but given their non-existent customer service, I guess I have to.
While comfortable and I guess good, this blanket lasted me just over a month. The material that creates the weight to the blanket, got loose and shifted to one side of the blanket; clumping up. If I picked it up, it would go to whatever side was down – gravity.
I figured I got a lemon and this is where the problem lies for me. I’ve called and left voice mail messages and emailed the company and have never received any response. They supposed have 100% satisfactory guarantee – but clearly that’s not true.
I give the benefit of the doubt that if a product didn’t work out that it’s not to say it’s a terrible product – mishaps and anomalies happen – but when a business is charging $125 for a blanket that lasts a month and NO ONE will return any communication then there is a problem. And would warn others to not waste their money.

I bought this for my wife for her birthday, but went a weight above the recommended one. This blanket is absolutely amazing!
Pros:
-My wife loves it and sleeps so much better, improving her quality of life.
-This is the only blanket that will 100% shut up my wife’s neurotic freaking Chihuahua, which improves his chances at having a quality life.
-My wife doesn’t steal the comforter anymore, which means I have a better night’s sleep and don’t have to leave her.
-It puts my wife to sleep so well that she doesn’t mind if it’s a little warm, so she backs off the thermostat, you Dad’s know what I’m talking about!
-She once laid it over me when i was hungover from drinking entirely too much with my brother, and it let me dig in for a good coma while my body tried to figure out what happened and why I did that to myself.
Cons:
-Having to clean and jerk this thing overhead so I can backload it to carry ANYWHERE she wants it, downstairs, upstairs, to the car for vacation.
Bottom line, men. Get this for your wife to save your marriage and sanity.

I was skeptical a bit. There’s so many weighted blanket options now and this one is not the cheapest but not very expensive either compared to others, so I thought maybe it wasn’t the best quality. I was wrong, it’s perfect. Slightly smaller than my bed (queen size) but big enough for me. I didn’t start sleeping better overnight but it did significantly improved my sleep. I would totally buy a second for another bed at my place. Worth the price, good quality, good weight and very comfy!
