As soon as I got the bt earbuds the package was a red flag….I thought man they must be using a super slim wall adapter to charge via the “usb-c” cable. WRONG…it doesn’t have a plug in wall adapter. It is the cable only. Be advised that if your newer computer doesn’t have a direct port for usb-c you will be buying an adapter to charge your beats.
The charging description leads you to believe it’s no big deal to charge via the usb-c cord but actually it is if you don’t have a compatible device that uses the same setup..
It’s one of those “Ah Ha” and “Got You” moments that you can’t get back….

I’ve been wearing Beats forever. I haven’t been loyal for quality necessarily, but that it really was the first brand I bought and I just succumbed to familiarity. I got used to and came to expect each pair lasting about a year which kinda sucked, but I made excuses. Heavy usage, etc etc. Long and short of it slowly but surely there has been changes that I havent liked. I tried the power beats- hate them, so i bought beats flex trying to get close to original . Power cord USB-C tp Usb-C is what you get with them. I have adrawer full of cables. I’ve have a million i phones, at least 6 pairs of beats including the recent power beat ( I hate ) and guess what- i can’t charge the beats flex because i don’t have the proper adapter. F- u. Beats. Done. What a joke. No doubt in my mind I’ll find a cheaper replacement going forward that has sound quality better than this which has always been less than exciting. I wish it didn’t take me this long to make the change, but it is the last dollar you will ever get from me.

I’ve just made the transition from my 1st Generation of AirPods and I must say, these Beats Flex are wayyy better than the AirPods!
The sound quality is much louder than the AirPods and they fit my ears perfectly!
Yes, the only cons about the Beats Flex is the charging outlet for the USB but other than that still a great purchase

Not sure if I received a defective pair, but the cons outweigh the pros
Returned them within a day. $ 20 pair of headphones from 3 years ago sound much better!
Pros:
1. Quick charging
2. Battery capacity and battery life
3. Easy pairing and Auto play/pause
4. Good for phone calls and podcasts
Cons:
1. The position of all the buttons and mic is not ergonomic
2. Since the mic rests on the neck, it picks up any sounds caused due to motion on clothes and relays it back into the earphones!
3. Volume rocker is not tactile and is loose
4. Power button and primary function buttons are also not tactile and are mushy
5. Baseline static/noise is higher than $ 20 pair of Bluetooth earphones
6. Emphasis is on vocals only, the highs and lows sound muddy
7. Seems like the sounds are coming from a distance

For the price these are truly amazing headphones. Pop them in, tune out the world around you and listen to your favourite music. I was using my Apple brand headphones that came with my old phone after my last beats died and these are FAR better. Happy to be enjoying music on my phone again. Well worth the money.

25 May 2021~EDIT: ⚠ ⚠ AVOID AVOID ⚠ ⚠ I absolutely HATE these headphones! I wish I’d never bought these useless things! Mostly for reasons I’ve already reported but more because I’m angry I was duped by BEATS into thinking they’d be a quality product. They connect~then disconnect every time. Then I have to try over and over to get them to connect again! It took almost 10 minutes tonight to get them to stay connected. I’m just really angry about this, so had to add another warning. Just stay away. They’re terrible!
8 March 2021 EDIT: From four stars to one! I’ve had these for a few months now and WOW they are NOT what I expect from Beats! Seriously. Every time I turn them on they pick up Bluetooth right away. Then it disconnects! Every. Time! Then it can take up to 5 minutes to reconnect!! Frustrating doesn’t begin to explain it. And of course, the fit hasn’t improved. Overall I’d say~BEWARE LOW PRICES FOR BRAND NAME PRODUCTS! They’re either on sale or much less expensive for a reason. No way I’d recommend these even though the sound is still excellent.
OK. I bought these because BEATS! Dr. Dre wouldn’t steer me wrong, right? The sound is phenomenal! Absolutely perfect! I like a lot of bass and playing it LOUD and these can take both the bass and volume to great heights!
BUT!
The fit is horrible! The wire that wraps around your neck with the controls is permanently tangled so it twists when I’m moving~and then the earbuds fall out of my ears. It’s frustrating! I’ve tried all the foam ear parts and not one helps.
Overall I’m happy with these! But one star less for fit.

Doesn’t include usb-c charging block. Decent sound quality but useless without charger. $10-12 for charger and headphones won’t do me any good until it arrives

I was really worried about the microphone being on my neck but after several test calls with friends and family, I’m told they can hear me clearly. I can talk on a busy street or in the car with my windows down and my voice comes across clear with low background noise.
The audio quality is not on par with the $100+ category of headphones but it certainly isn’t poor quality.
These headphones are considerably lighter and more comfortable than BeatsX. The sound is less bass-heavy than the BeatX but I don’t get sound fatigue from using or wearing them. I also use these for Zoom calls at work and they’re great.
The added function of pausing music when the headphones are magnetized together is brilliant. The functions for pausing music, using Siri, and answering calls are user friendly.
Overall, these are a great improvement over the BeatsX, which I still have and have used every day for two years.
Cons: no waterproof rating, I can hear background noise and cable noise through the speakers even though the people I’m talking to cannot, no carrying case like BeatsX, no earbud “wings”

I love these headphones. Considering the price, they are amazing and I find myself wearing them all the time:
Let me address some of the issues I’ve seen in the reviews here:
1 – no charger. Yep, no USB-C charger is included and all you get is a very small cable in the box. This isn’t a problem for me because I have half a dozen usb-c blocks around the house and probably wouldn’t have plugged in one if it did come in the box.
2 – poor audio quality. Not to my ears. They aren’t Bose, but they are much better than the average pair of inexpensive bluetooth ear buds I’ve purchased.
3 – poor microphone. Again, I haven’t noticed it. I’ve used them on multiple zoom calls and phone calls and no one has said anything.
4 – non ergonomic buttons. They do take some getting used to, but there are only so many places you can put volume buttons on headphones that hang around your neck. This seems like nit-picking to me.
Bottom line.
If you are an apple/iPhone user and want to have some decent headphones with the same wizardry of AirPods built in but don’t want to pay $150+ for AirPods – you won’t be disappointed. If you are looking for something from Apple that costs $50 and is better than AirPods, AirPods Pro or Bose earbuds you have unrealistic expectations and are probably disappointed by everything anyways.

I bought these to replace my Beats X headphones as they were starting to have some problems. This new model is a pretty excellent successor. The battery life is amazing, I’ve had them turned from 6am to 5 pm and still have 30% charge left when i get Home. My only complaint is that they don’t sound quite as good as the old Beats X but they still sound pretty great.
Solid recommend.

Love ‘em. No issues with these so far. Pretty much comes down to whether it’s worth it to spend a little more on more expensive earbuds (let’s be honest, we all know I’m talking about Airpods) or get these instead. So:
Buy Airpods instead if you:
-Can’t put up with any wires whatsoever
-Have some extra cash
-Think a small difference in sound makes a BIG difference
-Will for sure lose your earbuds if they’re not in a case
If none of these apply to you, congrats. Go enjoy these puppies for half the price of brand new Airpods.
Also: my ears are pretty funky in terms of shape, and I needed to buy ear hooks to wear my old Airpods. Not an issue here, they fit well.
That’s about it.

Adding to my previous review I finally got the necessary pieces to charge Beats Flex Wireless Earphones.
Dissatisfied and disappointed. Tinny sound plus noise if you move your head to much. Not worth the money spent. I would have been smarter to invest in a pair of Bose. .

These do not fit comfortably in the ear, and the sound quality is not as good as other beats products but the biggest reason for a poor review is that they sent a charging cord that is not compatible with regular USB chargers. I had to Google to find out how to charge it and I will have to find a compatible plug to purchase extra so that I can charge them. Absolutely idiotic but not surprising from a tech company…. always switching things up slightly to make another quadrillion dollars.
