My Little Pony Friendship is Magic Toys Ultimate Equestria Collection – 10 Figure Set Including Mane 6, Princesses, and Spike the Dragon – Kids…

My 6-year old is slightly MLP obsessed so just before Christmas, I asked her which was her favorite pony. She looked at me confounded and said “All of them! Pinkie Pie and Applejack and Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy and Rarity and Twilight Sparkle and Princess Celestia!” She loves brushing hair so I knew I needed to find the ponies with real hair. All the tiny sets just seemed so small so when I found a deal on this set, I had to do it. I will say that I would not buy this at the regular price (it was about the same everywhere) but when I got a half-price deal, I couldn’t pass it up. I was surprised at how large it was when the package came. My daughter loves the set and plays with them every day. The ponies have tea parties and sleepovers with her barbie-style dolls in her dollhouse. She takes them to her room where they sleep in a basket every night and brings them back downstairs in the morning so she can play with them whenever.

My only complaint is that the hair gets kind of matted and knotty VERY easily once you take out the rubber bands from the packaging. I have kind of a thing about doll hair though. My daughter can generally brush these out if she’s being patient (more than I can say for some of the knock-off dolls!) There have only been a couple of times that she’s asked me to “fix” the ponies’ hair and even at that, I’ve been able to un-knot it with minimal loss. I wish somebody would invent cheap brushable doll hair that’s less prone to knotting and matting but until they do, these ponies’ hair is about on par with most of what we have.

Like I said, I wouldn’t pay full price but if you’ve got a fan who can’t pick a favorite and you find a deal, it’s worth it.

These are really nice, and look as expected for the characters they portray. The hair is going to get tangled really easily, though. Once you remove the bands that hold them in place to their legs, the strands will already start to ‘fly’ and get tangled up…especially on the ponies that have wings…

Small complaint that doesn’t have much bearing on the product quality: I wish Apple Jack (orange) had her signature “cowgirl” hat included with the set since the character is never seen without it. Even my four year old was asking me where her hat was…

Overall, a really nice set with all the pony friends that feels durable when played with. Just be sure to have a comb on standby…

My 4 year old daughter absolutely loves these! We saw a similar set at Costco for a little bit cheaper but decided to go with this set for Christmas because it included all of the ponies my kiddo wanted and Spike. These ponies were also bigger so we felt like we got more for our money. The quality is great and the packaging wasn’t too difficult to deal with.

Got these for my daughter for Xmas and managed to get them on sale for $34.99. It’s March and she still plays with them just about every day. She’s only 2 1/2 and wasn’t watching the movie or shows yet and now she’s upset. She does some really complicated imaginary play with them. She has the 3.5 inch ponies too so naturally the 6 inch ones are the “mommies” and the 3.5 ones are the “babies.” They are holding up great and the colors are vibrant. I braided all their manes on Xmas morning after she opened them to keep the hair nice. They still look great! As a former MLP fan myself (original ponies) I really do love them too.

We are in love with these ponies! I was afraid they would be too large but they truly are just the right size and gorgeously constructed. Looking forward to hours of playtime fun.
