My daughter has the LPS tree house playsets and LOVES it. We were expecting the PetUltimate Apartments to be similar in size and construction. (yes, I should have paid more attention to the measurements.)
This is a teeny tiny set. Maybe 25% as big as the tree house. Once you put a pet in the room…the room is full. It’s not like you can move the pet around to pretend it’s doing anything. And the whole things is smaller, flimsier, just not as solid and sturdy as the tree house.
My daughter does like playing with it – which is why it got the 3 stars it did. I was unimpressed and would not recommend.

My daughter loves her LPS and this is a perfect home for them. There are so many little spaces so a lot of pets can fit on this at once, but it does only come with two. The slide going into the fishbowl is a huge attraction for a 5 year old! This set is much better made then the sets we have purchased the last few years.

It’s very good and cute and doesn’t take up that much space in my child’s room but she did think it would be bigger by the picture. It was also hard for her to put it all together and had to ask me to help. There was a random bird swing that we didn’t know where to put it. The instructions were very unclear as well. Other then that she loved it!

Amazon said it was in a plain brown box so I wasn’t surprised. But it was in a very SMALL brown box, not all puffed up to make it look like you were getting a lot for your money, like they are packaged in a retail store. It was a whole bunch of little pieces with no instructions included as to how or where to attach them to the plastic building. I was kind of embarrassed when the kid unwrapped it & even more when she couldn’t figure out how to set it up without the help of her dad – who had to guess what went where. In the end, I guess she was happy with the gift.

My daughter loves LPS and I was looking for something she could use with all her LPS pets that wasn’t too expensive. Well I’m glad I found this because everything else I found was way overpriced. This was much cheaper than other options. My daughter was so excited to receive it and has spent hours playing with it. With the frustration-free packaging, I had a little difficulty figuring out where some of the pieces go. But after checking back at some of the pics here, I figured it out in a couple mins and it ended up being simple. A couple of the compartments have little doors, which fall of easily if you open the door too wide. I think my daughter got tired of asking for help putting them back on, so she has just left them off. That’s my only complaint. But the rest of it seems durable and I think it’s definitely worth the money.

This toy is small and not real sturdy, but it has some very cute components to it. I ordered the Standard Packaging because it was a birthday gift for my 5-year old granddaughter. So, I paid double the price ($49.75) but still received the Frustration-Free packaging (plain brown box). I called Amazon to either request a credit for the difference or them to send me the correct box that shows the picture of the item (what it would be packaged in in a store). Amazon refunded my full purchase price but I didn’t have to return the item. Thus, I got it for free! At age 5, I didn’t think my granddaughter would care that the box is plain brown, especially since the item was free and I can now buy her something else, too! That said, there are a few small pieces that seemed to have no use. I also recommend adding some small pets to the toy — I added another kitty, a dog, a bird and a bunny be seen the toy only comes with a cat and a small fish.

Christmas gift for my daughter, she saw this at Walmart And flipped out for it, she is going to be one happy kid at Christmas!!

I wasn’t paying attention to the description and didn’t see the plain packaging notice. At first I was dismayed by the blank cardboard box. This was a Christmas gift after all. But then I saw the potential. My kids are obsessed with the “blind bag” trend, so I marked out the Hasbro logo. When my daughter opened it she was confused but even more excited. She had to rip the box open and pull pieces out to see what it was. The whole thing was a hit. If you don’t mind simple, easy to clean packaging, and want to save a few bucks, this is the way to go.
(The toy itself is well made and has already had hours of use.)

My daughter is loving this! She has a ton of little animals from various sets, and now they each have their own room. Set comes with two animals, so ignore the rest. It didn’t come with any directions, but it was easy to put together once we looked at other people’s pictures. She is loving it!!
