My daughter has the alphabet backpack from leapfrog and my 1.5-year-old always wants to play with it. I don’t know what my expectation was with this but I thought it would be somewhat equivalent, at least to my 1.5-year-old. It’s not. I feel like it’s big a bulky for no reason, it’s not like it makes noise. Worst of all, I have a really hard time getting it open so my son definitely can’t. Other than the letters and numbers clicking into place and having a carrying case it’s just a plain puzzle. I think you’d be better off buying a cheaper puzzle that’s more accessible for toddlers you could probably buy 6 and it still wouldn’t take up as much space or better yet buy the leapfrog backpack, it’s not perfect but it’s more worth the space and money it uses.

We really loves these little suitcases! These are prefect for toddlers to carry around everywhere and I love how the letters and numbers snap in very well so they don’t go all over the place. My son is excited to learn letters and numbers because he’s having fun through play.

For a break down for anyone who may not be reading the description right like myself. These are two suitcase looking activities sets with Elmo and Cookie monster faces. They are NOT THE SAME on the inside. One is alphabets while the other is numbers. Still a perfectly cute and efficient Purchase! I used it as a double deal by gifting two children with this for Christmas. I really enjoyed this and so does ALL 5 of my children (Spanning from the 8year old to the 1 year old)
So the ONLY reason I took away a star is because the cases are abit tricky to open and the chocolate chips are the same color as the cookies in the number case. We didnt even know there was a number pattern with the chocolate chips, much more that there were even chocolate chips on the cookies lol !!!
The chocolate chips were an easy fix by just taking a sharpie and coloring them in. This made it MUCH better!!
As far as the tricky opening of the case. I’m sure that’s an easy manufacturing fix.
Other than this, ThoseGilligans kids not only APPROVE, but are thouroughly enjoying it ❤

I bought these for my nephews 2nd birthday recently, and he loves them. That’s the age where they love carrying things around and doing puzzles. They’ve very sturdy, both the carrying cases and the letters. I don’t see any problems with anything breaking. They’re very educational, he’s catching on to the number sounds already just only having it a few days. He’s figuring out the letters shapes, the first thing he did with the Elmo one was take out G, Q, and O..he was trying to figure out why they wouldn’t fit in each others’ spots, despite looking similar. The numbers he got 8/10 on the first trying identifying the shapes, only took a 2nd try to get the other 2. The cookies are fun for him to take out and put back, and I count them as he takes them out and puts them back in.

The only cons are that because it is so sturdy, the letters can be hard to get in and out at first, until they ‘loosen’ up and he has to figure out how to open the cases himself (the buttons on the front). The first few times when someone didn’t open it fast enough for him, he’d get frustrated and toss them case on the tile floor to open it. The fact that nothing broke when he did this is a good sign. It won’t take long for him to catch on how to maneuver it open.

Very happy with these. I almost bought the one, because they were out of the Elmo, then saw they had the double available.

I am a retired kindergarten teacher and I know how important it is for children to be ready to learn when they go to kindergarten. I bought these for my first grandson four years ago when he turned two. It is still in great shape and now the younger siblings are using it. So I bought two more for my two other son’s children. It is a great way for kids to learn the alphabet.

My toddler loves these. It’s a great way to play and learn. There are a few cons but overall worth purchasing.
    Cons:
    – there are a lot of pieces. Yet another toy where I’m picking up or nagging about pieces everywhere.
    – each piece needs to be pushed into place before you can close the case
    – some of the pieces are hard to get out even for an adult so you end up having to help a lot
    – The Elmo case does not have Elmo in the case under any of the letters. Find that to be odd.

Very colorful and sturdy toys. My kid loves it. Easy to carry around anywhere we go. Can’t beat the price either. A 2 for 1 deal for sure.

Love these little carrying cases, that come equipped with learning essentials! My Grandson LOVES these!! He carries them everywhere he goes, two of his favorite go to playtime toys, that are actually more of a learning tool than a toy! Teaching him his ABC’s, and memory skills. One case has Letters, the other set has 123’s and memory type game. I can’t explain easily, but they are awesome, and my grandson loves them! What more is there to say really?!?
Item arrived in a timely manner, in good new condition! To say my grandson loves these is an understatement! I am very happy with this purchase..stoked really! To see my grandbaby happy makes me happy!
