I needed to replace my 1st Gen Surface Pro (purchased in 2013). I made this purchase because of the ability to upgrade the storage (SSD). Currently I am using a 512 Samsung Pro Plus microSDXC but will be upgrading the SSD soon.
I don’t plan on doing any gaming which is why I chose the surface over others (i.e., MSI, Acer, HP, etc.). I currently use my surface pro 7+ for productivity (MS Office, web browsing, etc.).
I made sure to purchase a tempered glass screen cover as well as a Kingston Rugged Case via Amazon.

Got this Surface Pro 7+ to replace a Pro 3. Very happy. The configuration of the start screen is very different from the earlier models, but works well. Battery lasts long. Should not keep it charging for long periods of time. Highly recommend.

Very fast desktop replacement tablet. The i5 processes seem to handle anything I do. Does get a little warm when using with higher processor use apps but not too bad.

Got this as an on the go Tablet/Laptop for work. I am not disappointed with this purchase. Great device to let you do all computing tasks that can be done on a normal computer/laptop but with the flexibility of using it as a portable tablet.

Solid product. It’s not for every use case but it is light, portable, and makes good use of it’s components. The micro SD card port makes for a fast and easy way to upgrade storage

I travel frequently from r work, and needed a laptop to take with me. I wanted something lightweight and powerful enough to support web browsing, and Microsoft Office products. This device fit the bill. It works great. I love it!
