I purchased this to replace a laptop that I was having issues with things loading. So far I love the ease that comes with the Microsoft Surface Pro 7. I haven’t done too much on it yet as I am still getting things set up on it. The plan is for this to be the device I use when I am not at home and need to work on school stuff. Purchased as a bundle with the keyboard and then decided to purchase the pen as well. I love having the pen as I do not use a mouse with this and I can use the pen to scroll on webpages and all that. I definitely recommend purchasing a case for the device to give yourself more protection. The only thing I have had so far is that is did freeze up on me once and I had to hold the power button down until it shut down and then restarted it. Have not had the issue again.

I love this computer! I’m in college so I wanted something small but I could carry around with me with no trouble and this is perfect. It does anything I need it to and converts into a tablet if I need to take notes for class! Overall 5/5

Great tablet/computer. I got this when it was on sale for $999 primarily for design since I do custom made cake toppers using Affinity Designer. This laptop meets and exceeds my expectations:) I didn’t want to carry around a laptop around and this is very lightweight and performs as should using these designs programs including Adobe Illustrator. The resolution is far better than my laptop (HP).
I bought the keyboard later down the road and the pen works amazing. I’m glad I’ve made this investment.

This Surface Pro 7 is a replacement for my old Surface Pro 2. It’s bigger and shinier and faster and bigger inside :-). I especially like that we got the Type Cover. My old one’s battery got too tired to recharge and you don’t replace those; so it was time for a new one. It gave me 7 years of great service and I’m hoping to get at least the same from this one.
So far it works the same as the old one. My only problem is that it goes to sleep and doesn’t want to wake up. I have worked around that by adjusting the settings to not let it go into deep sleep. I haven’t tested the battery life yet to see if it lasts all day unplugged.
I really like having the Type Cover both for inputting data and for protecting the glass when in transit. Would highly recommend getting that and it is a nice keyboard as well.

Size is important so my first choice. Portable and light. Have problems with surface being very smooth that it’s slippery and adding tabs is an answer

The 7th version of Microsoft’s tablet is another evolution in the tried and true design with no real changes from last year other than the addition of the USB-C port. Internally you’ll get the latest 10th gen Dual or Quad core processors depending on the model you choose. What makes this a great device (with the mandatory type cover; you’ll need and want this) is that it can suit so many diverse use cases. Want a tablet? Check. Need a laptop? Check. Want to take notes for school or work or draw (again, with the optional pen)? Check. If you have the ability to get all of the accessories like the Type Cover, Pen, and Docking Station, you’ll have a device that can do it all (except serious gaming). It can be expensive getting all the accessories but it makes up for it by being really good at pretty much everything. Cameras on front and back make it easy to chat or grab a quick photo. The kickstand lets you set almost any angle you’d like. The display is super sharp and clear for watching videos or viewing photos. Don’t skimp on the RAM and get at least the 8GB versions. The i5 versions have no fan and always remain quiet and pretty cool. The i7 models have great performance but will bring a fan along that you’ll hear if you are pushing performance. Overall, a highly recommended device.

Coming from an sp3 and this one is a huge step up! I don’t think it would be a big difference but happy we made the upgrade!
