I absolutely love my surface Go 2. I had the original, and updated to the 2 so that my wife and I could both have one. It is a tablet, so it obviously has limits to a large desktop, but it accomplishes everything I could hope from it. It is responsive, I love the pen feature and it runs windows. Apple is not my favorite operating software, and while they make solid gear in the ipad…. It just isn’t my preference. Before the Surface, there was no alternative. Now I can have a wonderfully small, portable tablet that will run well. The only issue is that many app developers do not value creating a windows version. This has nothing to do with the tablet itself, but good to know when purchasing. I hope they are taken more seriously in the future.

Still in the infant stages of proving this device. But. so far, working well. After working thru the setup and re-configuring the desktop for personal preference, it is now at the comfortable stage. Able to find what I want without looking at all installed apps and programs. Primarily, Email, Web, and Auto Navigation package. There will be no playing games while driving. Still some minor things to get done, but Clear and simple for the intended use.

In general, an excellent tablet on Windows. it simply has no competitors. excellent build quality, magnesium body, proprietary stand, excellent webcam for broadcasts, best full hd screen.
after the operating system, its second main advantage is its size. it’s really very small. I advise you to buy a branded keyboard right away, especially since it is perfectly made and serves as a cover.
about pros: this tablet isn’t very fast in performance (I took it on a Pentium Y4425 with 8 gigabytes of RAM). Let’s frankly say that Windows does not fly on such hardware, but it does not slow too much, and if you take the top version on the core m3, then it should be even better. the second minus is the battery time. here it is far from the ipad. 4-5 hours maximum. but the ability to charge it via usb partially solves this problem, you just need to pick up a special charger. i tried 2 from smartphones – couldn’t charge it.
I am very pleased with the purchase. I looked closely at the version and model of the surface for a long time and finally decided to buy it. Now, on the way to work in the Godod transport, I can perform some tasks on this tablet.

Bought the 8 GB RAM, 128 GB storage version for my wife. She has been using an iPad Mini for the last several years and really likes the size of the Surface Go. She’s also happy that she can do things on it (such as work) that she couldn’t do on her iPad.
I wish it had full size USB A port instead of just a USB C but it hasn’t actually been a problem so far.
It’s not as snappy as my Surface Pro with the i5 processor but that’s to be expected. Happy it has 8GB of RAM.

Mechanically perfect. Solid, excellent feel, nice keyboard, good interface, wonderfully sharp, brilliant screen. Best compromise between laptop and tablet. A selling feature was the the promise of a familiar, Windows interface, but it’s a special version of Windows that does not allow you to download any app that is not from the Windows store. This fact needs to be made obvious in ads.
